16.01.2022 We have the perfect performance upgrade for the 3 X-Class spec levels offered. First, the 220d can be tuned from 120kW/403Nm to a massive 154kW/515Nm. A massive 28% gain in this entry level spec will put it above the standard 250d rated at 140kW/450Nm. The 250d (140kW/450Nm) can however be tuned to an equally impressive 179kW and 575Nm which equates to 28% gain in power and torque. 09.01.2022 Fantastic new development for the Volvo D4204 Turbo Diesel engines with up to 28% power and torque gains. Volvo Car Group's VEA (Volvo Engine Architecture) was launched with the world-first i-ART technology that helps to cut fuel consumption in the new diesel engines. By featuring pressure feedback from each fuel injector instead of using a traditional single pressure sensor in the common rail, i-ART makes it possible to continuously monitor and adapt fuel injection per combu...stion in each of the four cylinders. The combination of higher injection pressure and i-ART technology gives the customer an engine with improved fuel economy, considerably lower emissions and high performance output as well as a powerful sound character. This technology employs special connectors developed by Denso, the creators of the i-ART technology. Although CPA did the development for these engines quite a while ago, the connector availability to manufacture the harness remained an issue for quite some time.
