19.01.2022 Clarence Plains Boxing Club will re-open next Monday On 15 6 2020 ,start time 5.30pm under strict guide lines and they are ! No-one enters the gym until trainers are present 2 Every one must sanatise their hands before entering the gym 3 Trainers to wear protective gloves 4 Gloves and mitts to be wipe over after use... 5 When sparring all gloves to be wiped over between rounds (No Sparing atm) 6 No spectators No mothers ,fathers, or friends allowed into gym 7 No more than seven children allowed into gym at one time. This may complicate training any novices for a while and therefore we will announce a later date for people wishing for their children to learn how to box to be able to attend 8 Only two Trainers along with seven kids will be permitted in the gym at any one time 9 Face mask will be provided for every child who parents may wish for that extra protection 10 No sparring will be be permitted until restrictions are ease further by the Tasmanian Sports and Receation Department These are the rules imposed upon us by the Sports and Recreation Department and we as a club will abide by these rules as the fine for breaking the rules is in the thousands and this is more than both the club and myself have..I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause ,but the law is the law and one thing I learnt over the years to disobey the law cost you money. Dad and I will sit down and work out a time table on wat kids we can have in the gym as we are only allowed 6 boxers and 2trainers I will post up the time table and times this week Boxers to attend on Monday night are Connor Flakemore Callum Smedley Dylan Adair Matthew Savage Bailey White Heath Kean Shane Kean We can’t take on any new boxers atm until Restrictions are lifted only trainers the boxers atm until a further date is set is set in place

08.01.2022 Clarence Plains Footy Tipping Fans ,it unfortunate that this year I consider doing the footy tipping is not safe for me to do.I know Tasmania is free of the Covid 19 virus now ,but unfortunately a second wave is expected and if it does reappear not only could I get the virus but I also could take it to all the other houses I go.I will miss doing it as it was the only way this club has raised money to support the children that come to the club .I'm interested in any IDEAS for raising money and your assistance in doing this would be appreciated Please remember that I'm a giver not a taker and for any money we raise has value in it for our supporters. Thank you everyone for your support and look forward to seeing during the year. Yours Sincerily JOHN E BROWN
