13.01.2022 Time to start practicing "Mindfulness of Current Thoughts" from the Radical Acceptance Skills Module! (Distress Tolerance Handouts 15 & 15A as well as Worksheet 12 to practice this skill). Letting go of thoughts and being Mindfully Aware of thoughts is not the same as pushing them away. Trying to suppress painful/distressing thoughts usually makes thoughts worse. Instead of avoiding thoughts, this skill is about allowing thoughts to be as they are... letting them come and go is the goal of this skill.
