25.01.2022 Brand new brake pads and disc rotors

24.01.2022 Always make sure your vehicle is serviced by reliable mechanics who only use top quality parts and reliable sources.

22.01.2022 Just changing heater pipe, O rings and gaskets

21.01.2022 The old brake pads are on the wear indicator and this is the difference between new and old. Tip 1: have your brakes checked every 6,000kms so you don't create... any damage to your discs or drums, which will cost a lot more than just brake pads. Tip 2: front brake pads wear out a lot quicker than the rear brake pads. See more

15.01.2022 Independent workshops are able to perform services without voiding a new car warranty. Don't be misguided. Stopping paying too much for car servicing. Here is the link of Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. http://www.accc.gov.au/newcars

09.01.2022 It's a mission keep us going.

07.01.2022 Air filter This is a comparison between old and new air filters which I changed a couple of days ago for a customer. Air filter filters the air before going in...to the engine. It's one of cheapest components, however, it does affect the engine's performance and fuel consumption. But this is not what I am going to say today. I serviced a car which was serviced by its dealership at the last service. And I found the air filter was completely missing. So when I removed the throttle body, I found large dirt particle inside, and no surprise the vehicle was running very rough before I cleaned the throttle body. But this is actually very lucky because at least the engine didn't have any damage. It could have sucked in large objects e.g. leaves or sticks, which would have damaged the engine badly. Just a friendly reminder, when you have your car serviced by any mechanical workshops, no matter they are big guys or individuals, make sure to ask them: 1. What they have replaced. 2. Ask them to show you the old parts and the new parts they replaced. It is their responsibility to show you the condition of your car. It's not a trouble question to ask at all. And it could save you money.
