22.01.2022 79 Series Cruisers certainly have been popular lately! Averaging 2-3 per week amongst all the other stuff that’s been coming through the doors! Both these had NPC clutch upgrades and remaps. ... The maroon one was still fitted with the full factory Toyota exhaust including DPF and still managed to turn an extra 250nm to the rollers! I did a tally on the Dyno and have tuned almost 120 cruisers thus far, surely there can’t be many more out there in our little state

21.01.2022 Finally got my hands on one of these old beauties to remap Quite surprising what the old 4JH1 can produce once tickled in the right spots! 96% increase in torque and 64% increase in power ... Clutch did protest a little on the Dyno so expect torque increase to be well over 100%....

20.01.2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee? Yeah why not +23awkw of power +~70awnm of torque ... These things go very nice after a tickle

19.01.2022 Finally got this old Sierra Cosworth on the rollers after sitting around for 13 years! Kind of ironic, I first met this car way back in 2002 whilst doing my apprenticeship at Pride Autos. I used to walk past it every day for 4 years! I’d say it’s aged better than me

16.01.2022 NP300 Navara! Now 100nm and 30kw stronger after a remap

14.01.2022 Still seeing plenty of over priced rail pressure only chips coming through.... Still pulling them off and throwing them in the bin too... As you can see on this 79 Series, the difference a proper tune makes is remarkable! And the difference a rail chip makes isn’t so remarkable...... White=Stock Red=Rail Chip Blue=Fixed #data #nobull #realresults #mainlinedyno #torque

14.01.2022 Might have to think about ordering a hub Dyno soon! Traction has been a big problem lately #dontlaughatmybaldhead #kombi #mainline

13.01.2022 We’ve been under the pump with a huge workload lately, and figured it was time to be a little more active on here...so.... What’s better than one current model Toyota to finish your week? Two of them! Both getting fitted with the popular torque converter lock up kits to save some $$ at the bowser. ... The 1000km old 200 series got some goodies consisting of: Richards Auto Lock Up Kit ProVent 200 Catch Can Pre Filter MANTA Performance 3 DPF Back Exhaust ECU Remap Transmission Tune We tune these DPF models gently while new, super safe fuelling to keep DPF’s happy and sensible boost levels to ensure turbocharger longevity. 160nm of extra torque and 27awkw of power wakes them up just nicely Plus an expected fuel saving of 2-3L per hundred to tick all the boxes Want more from your 200 Series? Give us a call or drop us a message

13.01.2022 Early 4JJ1’s have been quite popular lately! These pair of old darlings got a new lease on life after some Dyno time! The Auto Rodeo with its Delphi ecu needed doing the old fashioned way on the bench, with 320k on the clock we kept the fuelling conservative at 21:1 which still resulted in an extra 195nm of torque and 25kw of power! ... The manual D-Max found 160nm and 30rwkw after letting some of the lollies out of the jar! The transformation in drive-ability is something that just needs to be experienced

11.01.2022 Another one of our popular 200 Series Touring Packages out the door this week. This time a brand new Sahara and our first 60U85 calibration. I’ve been waiting patiently for one of these to appear! Richards Auto Electrical Lock Up Kit ... MANTA Performance DPF Back Exhaust Provent 200 Catch Can Pre Filter Engine Remap Transmission Tune Sensible boost and fuelling netted a 150nm gain at all 4 wheels safe as houses in preparation for towing duties on the big island. Transmission shifts are improved, 6th gear is now able to be found and the converter locks @ 80km/h which really transforms these vehicles. With the rest of the year all but booked out, be sure to get in contact asap if you’ve been good boy this year and think you deserve a pressie from Santa

05.01.2022 Dyno has not stopped lately. Many nice notes

02.01.2022 A pair of sought after faithful FTE’s! Unichip Australia & New Zealand Q4’s with electronic boost control controlling the show. The auto grey one is about to clock over half a million kms! ... The white one’s clutch spoilt the fun this arvo, was just starting to come to life so we left it at a stout 93% torque gain at all 4 wheels. Both equipped with map select switches for tune switching on the fly, allowing multiple tunes for power and towing duties

01.01.2022 This early 2.8 Colorado came in for a retune after fuel consumption issues were bothering the customer. We added some boost and pulled some fuel which resulted in a slight midrange drop in power and torque but should result in much better economy. The extra power and torque we found down the bottom and up the top is proof the only way to tune your diesel is on a Dyno with data to back up the changes you’re making

01.01.2022 Some sweet rotary action today to break up the never ending line of diesels we’ve been tuning lately! Nicks gorgeous FD came up for a health check after some exhaust changes, luckily for him (and the engines sake) we found a fuel pump supply issue which put a stop to the fun! Looking forward to sorting it for him, it sure is a nice example
