25.01.2022 A message form Snowy Hydro More Snowy 2.0 tunnel boring machine cargo will be transported from Port Kembla to the Snowy Mountains from this weekend. ... Some large, wide, heavy loads being transported to Lobs Hole will need partial & full road closures for sections of the Snowy Mountains Highway. There will be road closures between the Kosciuszko National Park boundary and Link Road on the following dates and motorists should allow up to 2-hours extra travel time in both directions through this section of the park: Wednesday, 21 October from 7.30am to 11am Thursday, 22 October from 7.30am to 11am Roads will remain open for other large loads being transported on the Snowy Mountains Highway and motorists should allow 10-minutes travel time. The public notice (attached) has the schedule for deliveries this weekend and next week. The full schedule is published on the Traffic page of the project website. Please note, the delivery schedule is subject to change at short notice due to weather and permit arrangements. Check the website for further updates about deliveries scheduled later in October and November. 24.01.2022 We have been a little quiet on social media of late, but thats because our houses have been nearly completely full! So we have been busy catering for our guests and ensuring everything is in order So while I grab a quick cuppa before heading back to the manic world of property management I wanted to tell you a little about our houses and what it means for our regions economy. Did you know a number of our holiday houses are owned by farming families? Some are town houses, others farm stays. 24.01.2022 , The work to rebuild Selwyn Sn...ow Resort is underway with the announcement that Selwyn has signed a contract with Doppelmayr Australia Pty Ltd for the upgrade of the New Chum Double Chair. The New Chum Chairlift was extensively damaged in the January bushfires which saw most of the resort's facilities destroyed. Selwyn's General Manager Angela Murdoch said, "New Chum is one of the signature lifts for Selwyn Snow Resort and thousands of skiers and boarders have taken their first turns using this lift. These upgrades will see New Chum continue to be a key feature of the resort for years to come." The proposed works to the New Chum Chair include a full conversion of all existing operating components to Doppelmayr, replacement chairs, upgraded towers, a new Variable Speed Drive to control the lift speed to assist guests, as well as the expansion and upgrade of the load and unload platforms. This is a great step forward in our rebuild plans as we are fully committed to being back as soon as possible. Keep an eye out for further updates as the rebuild progresses in the coming months.

16.01.2022 Hello everyone, We would like to give everyone an up date on todays event We are happy to let everyone know that the fire has been held within containment line...s and adaminaby at this point has survived another day. We would like to thank everyone for their extraordinary efforts and support, without this we wouldnt be here, To our knowledge there was approximately 60km of active fire front which came from every direction, the main fire front came within 10km of town once the main event past, crews were busy chasing multiple spot fires which didnt let up. We wont know the extent of the damage until daylight tomorrow. There is a lot more mopping up and more ground to cover, we will be taking advantage of the weather over the next few days to make sure it stays in the box. Thanks to everyone for their support.

But the best part.... snow is predicted tomorrow night!
