20.01.2022 CPT Engineering recently had the opportunity to construct the new Wineglass Bay Lookout at Freycinet National Park. Our scope of work included coordinating the project from basic surveyor points, through to detailed design drawings, Fabrication & Installation. CPT were faced with many challenges along the way, including extensive planning, a long hike in and out each day to the work site, having all the walkway sections, including the new lookout platform, delivered by a hel...icopter. Keeping up with the changing weather conditions also proved very challenging at times. The Lookout was carefully designed so that it did not have a major impact on the natural surroundings and could be used for many years to come. It was an absolute pleasure to work with the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment on this Project and the assistance that they provided was outstanding. This together with our CPT crew who worked tirelessly and took on the challenge with dedication, we are thrilled to be able to present the final product to you.
