16.01.2022 The Victorian Government has announced that the border with South Australia will close at 11.59 pm tonight, 19 November, for 48 hours. A permit system will come into effect from 11.59 pm on Saturday 21 November. We'll bring you more information as we get it.

16.01.2022 We are pleased to confirm that professional driving instructors can operate in metropolitan Melbourne from today under the Third Step of the roadmap for reopening. A permit is not required unless you are travelling outside of metro Melbourne to provide a lesson, but you must have a COVIDSafe Plan. We are in the process of updating the relevant information on our website.

Support may be available for you through the State Revenue Office CPV service levy relief https://go.vic.gov.au/YmUdKH Eligible BSPs and independent vehicle owner-operators may be eligible for the Department of Transport CPV Industry Assistance Program https://go.vic.gov.au/ALRHHk CPV vehicle owners or drivers please note: if your vehicle(s) receive bookings through a booking service provider (BSP) you’re not eligible for the DoT program as your BSP will support you through the grant they receive.
