25.01.2022 Yesterday the latest paper from Prof Lloyd Hollenberg's group was published in Nature Communications. Using quantum technology the team have dramatically improved nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, enabling better understanding of molecular structures and how they behave. 23.01.2022 Congrats to Prof Pryde and his team who have shown for the first time that it's possible to surpass the shot-noise limit, which had prevented scientists from achieving the theoretical limits of super-sensitive measurement. The results are out today in Nature Photonics. Access the full paper here: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41566-017-0011-5

18.01.2022 Dr Jacq Romero has been named a 2017 L'Oréal Australia Women in Science Fellow! She is a member of our photonic quantum computation team at The University of Queensland - UQ and received the award for her work creating quantum alphabets using the orbital angular momentum of light. Congratulations Jacq! Learn more about Dr Romero's work here: https://www.forwomeninscience.com.au/news/JacqRomero

10.01.2022 #TBT to that time when Prof Wiseman and Dr Hall explained their many worlds theory...

07.01.2022 No physics lecture is complete without dipping some everyday objects into a vat of liquid nitrogen... This week CQC2T is hosting five budding scientists on the Quantum Experience Program, created to engage and motivate young women with an interest in quantum computing, physics or engineering. This morning our visitors were treated to a talk on the bloch sphere and cryogenic dilution refrigerators by Dr Arne Laucht and Dr Vincent Mourik, followed by this neat little trick.

06.01.2022 Today members of our team at UNSW and The University of Melbourne launched a new company to commercialise some of their work in silicon quantum computing. Follow the link to catch up with all the news.
