25.01.2022 Dr Katie Ilott grew up in Rockhampton, and initially trained and worked as a registered nurse at the Rockhampton Base Hospital (Paediatric Department). She then went on to study medicine at Griffith University on the Gold Coast, graduating in 2011. Following this, Dr Ilott worked at the Gold Coast Hospital, Robina Hospital and Gold Coast University Hospital before moving back to Rockhampton in mid-2014 and commencing work in General Practice. She gained Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2016. Dr Ilott is also a Medical Educator with JCU’s GP Training Program, and is involved with supervising and teaching general practice registrars throughout Central Queensland. Her special interests include paediatrics, preventative medicine, women’s health, mental health and medical education.

21.01.2022 Dr Irikidzai Mugebe brings a wealth of experience to the team at CQ Doctors & consults from the CQ Doctors Parkhurst practice. Dr Mugebe has worked as a GP in Rockhampton for several years now & was employed in Rockhampton Hospital Emergency Department prior to that. 21.01.2022 Dr Eugene Ma joined the CQ Doctors Team in 2018 and now consults from Upper Dawson Road Tuesday to Friday each week. Dr Ma has a special interest in internal medicine. He is currently working on Mondays in the Rheumatology Clinic at the Rockhampton Base Hospital as a GP with special interest in Rheumatology. He will Bulk bill patients who hold a valid Health Care Card or Pension Card OVER the age of 65 and children 16 years and younger.
