McLeod's have donated their time for all the installation work. The CQ Military Museum would also like to thank all the electrical suppliers who have donated the lights.... Thank you very much.

08.01.2022 This Sunday marks the 100th anniversary of the war to end all wars. To commemorate this tumultuous occasion the Central Queensland Military Museum has commissioned a small display to honour the sacrifice of the men and women who sacrificed there all for us. The display of photos and memorabilia of Central Queensland volunteers touches on the futility of War and it's aftermath. The Museum will be open from 9 a.m. on Sunday and all are invited for a sausage sizzle and quiet reflection on the end of World War 1.

07.01.2022 Monday 11 November 2019 is Remembrance Day - The CQ Military Museum admission fee is a gold coin donation. The guns of the Western Front fell silent after 4 long years of World War 1.... The CQ Military Museum will observe a minute's silence at 11am, in memory of those who died or suffered in all wars and conflicts.



06.01.2022 The Museum will be closing at Midday 19th Dec for the Christmas break. We shall re-open on the 7th Jan 2019. We hope all our visitors and members enjoy the Holidays.

04.01.2022 The CQMM Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 17 August 2020 at 1030am. Nominations for all positions on the Management Committee are now being called. Nomination forms are available at the museum.

01.01.2022 Our museum also has a small cinema showing the landing at Gallipoli involving some Central Queenslanders. This is our "Gallipoli Experience" film which runs for about 6 minutes. Watch and enjoy our little film while having a little 'boat ride' (no moving parts).
