25.01.2022 Bit of a short week for me this week and not working my normal hours. I’ll be at the clinic Wednesday and all day Thursday, air cons being cleaned Friday morning and I have a ‘do’ to go to after that and back at work on Saturday morning. Emma will be a the clinic this morning in case anyone calls in and wants gift vouchers or to make appointments. Otherwise I’m having a long weekend and for those going to work - don’t work too hard!

23.01.2022 Well that’s my Sunday, rested and rejuvenated for the start of another week. I know what my faults are (and I’m sure everyone can tell me some more) but I do struggle to take ‘time out’ as I love to keep busy but I’ve made it a priority to continue to switch off for a bit. Fish and chips on the beach today, and a paddle through the water - well lots of paddles actually and a Weis bar - Yummo. What do you do to ensure the ‘check’ light doesn’t come on in your life? For me I try and have a good walk every week along with a Sunday sesh chilling out. Do you jog, gym, go camping, or meditate etc......I’d love to know and it may help me along with others to improve our lives....

21.01.2022 I’ll be having a short break next week from tomorrow Saturday 7th through to Sunday 15th November but for the most part I’ll be around the ridges so if you’d like to arrange a time to pick up a gift voucher or make an appointment please don’t hesitate to call. Gift vouchers start from $45 for 1/2 hour massage and make a great Xmas present. The clinic will be open by appointment only next week for the other Therapists to see their clients and I’ll resume back at the clinic on Monday 16th. I’m not sure if the umbrella is for beach time I’m going to have or rain time but you get my drift. Looking forward to seeing everyone on my return. Cheers, Tricia.

21.01.2022 And then there was Five This week was our one-year anniversary for the CQ Therapy Centre opening at 12 East Street. What a time it has been to open a shop during these interesting times (to say the least); however, we have steadily grown from Allison and myself opening the clinic to expanding to a family of 5. If you haven’t had the opportunity to meet one of us please let me introduce you to the other three Therapists and their businesses. 19.01.2022 A very thoughtful family gave me this amazing Christmas bouquet the other day. Aren’t they just devine? It wasn’t just the bouquet that was especially thoughtful though but when I had a week off a few weeks back I was contacted by the mother to check to see if I was ok (as they know I don’t take to many days off). Actually several of my clients did and it really reiterated how fortunate I am to have such kind and thoughtful people in my life. I like to think that anyone that comes through the Centre’s doors are part of a community and it’s not just about me ‘fixing’ aches and pains but an exchange of respect, trust and thoughtfulness between everyone there and a sense of community that extends well beyond our doors. Feeling very very grateful.

09.01.2022 Skin check Have you had a skin check recently Three biopsies done, one on the head, arm and foot. Just staying on top of it all with regular checkups as my life was tragically touched by melanoma with my father 11 years ago. Just be aware sometimes it’s such a small little mark that biopsies are taken from - do yourself a favour and get a skin check!
