22.01.2022 Something I put together because I was bored I hope you like it

21.01.2022 Last night we had our first hit out for the season at Shed Alliance Bundaberg Motorplex. Clinton Marcon took quick time at the start of the night with a time of 15.287. This would give Clinton pole position for heat one, with heat two being inverted. On his second race night, Sam Bylsma timed in 2nd with Tyson Lochwood 3rd. Heat races produced some fantastic racing with Clinton Marcon taking out heat one and Matthew Booth winning heat two. Marcon also lowered his best time to... a 15.105. After not registering a time in time trials, Brendan Parker took quick time in the shootout with Clinton Marcon taking second and Sam Bylsma third. A mere 1 tenth of a second covered the top three! After starting on the front row in the A Main, Marcon took the lead in the first corner and never looked back. Sam Bylsma chased hard for the 20 lap journey but couldn't match the pace of Marcon. After an early charge around the outside, Brendan Parker took the final step of the podium. A Main Results 1st Q18 Clinton Marcon 2nd Q22 Sam Bylsma 3rd Q4 Brendan Parker 4th Q59 Tyson Lochwood 5th Q44 Jason Panichelli 6th Q13 Matthew Booth Our next race meeting will be October 13th at Bundaberg Motorplex. With more cars currently under construction, we should have a few more on track in the near future!

17.01.2022 Anothe race night done and dusted at Bundaberg Motorplex. With a decnt crowd in the house, the boys put on another fantastic night of action. Brendan Parker took the win in heat one ahead of our last feature race winner, Clinton Marcon. Jason MacDonald came home in 3rd place; after returning to the drivers seat for the first time in almost 10 years. Heat 2 went to MacDonald, with Matthew Booth chasing hard for 2nd and Clinton Marcon 3rd.... Clinton Marcon took the win in heat 3. Jason MacDonald was 2nd and Brendan Parker 3rd. After starting on the front row in the feature race, Clinton Marcon was untouchable for the 15 lap journey. He also set the fastest time of the night with a 15.361. Brendan Parker finished in 2nd place with Sam Bylsma home in 3rd. Jason MacDonald pulled in 6 laps from home due to car problems, while holding down 2nd place. A Main Results 1st Clinton Marcon 2nd Brendan Parker 3rd Sam Bylsma 4th Tyson Lochwood 5th Matthew Booth The boys will be off to Coal Capital Speedway this weekend. Lets hope they can put on another great show! - Photo from Darrell Lockhart "Mr Click"

13.01.2022 So Speedway Australia no longer recognise the WA speedway commission. They deem them unnecessary and cant provide permits for events. The WA speedway commission ...was set up and funded by the WA state government to ADVISE and train on safety and help bring WA speedway tracks and divisions together as one.The WA speedway commission chose to advise tracks that they control speedway in WA as they had an ALLIANCE with Speedway Australia, which is a privately owned company hiding under a mulltiple of shelf names to provide a profit to its owners. The WA speedway commission has in the past few years grossly overstepped not only its parameters as set down in its constitution but its authority to control speedway in WA as it has THREATENED any WA tracks/ divisions /officials and competitors. This is unacceptable as is Speedway Australia attempting to claim that they are the controlling body of Speedway in Australia.THEY LEGALLY ARE NOT.Speedway in Australia belongs to the tracks and competitors and now is the time to show these people such.I ask tracks and competitors to stand up especially here in WA to stop the rath of the people directly involved with Speedway Australia for their own profits to bring speedway back to the people that are the ones investing in the sport not RAPING it.Only when WE take the sport back will it move forward.V8 Non Wing Sprints Australia have entered into an arrangement with Katanning Speedway in WA to help make speedway succeed. This is about affordability for competitors and spectators alike. I hope this can change the previous negative moves to move the sport into the 21st century. See more

13.01.2022 Bundaberg Motorplex - Home of Carina Speedway 5th Oct, should be epic for the kiddies!!

11.01.2022 Nice promo from Kell’s photography. One of our young and upcoming photographers that loves speedway. Well done Kellie, keep up the good work.

08.01.2022 The first race of the 2019/2020 season saw 9 drivers take the track. Hot Laps saw Q22 Sam Bylsma set the pace with the fastest lap time of 16.026 seconds. Q59 Tyson Lochwood unfortunately suffered some engine issues and the remaining 8 drivers took the track for Heat 1 where Sam Bylsma finished in P1 with Q18 Clinton Marcon setting the fastest lap. A spin out and subsequent roll over by Q16 Paul Vuichoud saw Q8 Rick Tappscott & Q23 Quinton Ellis with no where to go and all 3 ...DNF. All drivers were ok and made it back out for Heat 2 which saw Rick Tapscott set the fastest lap of 15.634 seconds and finishing in P1. The top 6 drivers made it into the Dash with Clinton Marcon taking out the top spot. Marcon drew for the chance of starting the A Main in 1 4 or 6. He drew the 1 and started on pole in the A Main followed by Q81 Tony Wynne, Q22 Sam Bylsma and Q4 Brendan Parker in the top 4 positions. Unfortunately, only 6 cars started the Feature race with engine issues for Rick & Quinton. The A Main was hotly contested and all drivers had great pace with the new track conditions proving favourable. Tony Wynne had an unfortunate spinout on the opening lap sending him from P2 to last, though he came back up to 3rd position setting the fastest lap of the race. However he couldn’t catch Clinton Marcon & Sam Bylsma who both set lap times of low 15’s. Clinton took out the win for the first race of the season also setting the fastest lap of the evening of 15.141 seconds and will be the man to watch this year. Photo credit Zoom Action Images

However, the CQ Sprintcars will still be out on track for the two night Easter show. Please come out and support this growing class, and we are sure the extra seat time for our drivers will only make the May 25 show even better. ... Thank you for your understanding whilst this class gathers momentum to become the most affordable V8 Open Wheel class on dirt!! See you all there See more
