22.01.2022 I'd like to share a recently completed bathroom renovation. This one was a little unique to say the least as the landlord decided to try their hand at it first. We started by stripping the bathroom as the waterproofing integrity had been compromised, most tiles were loose or cracked, and grout joints were sealed with silicone.....the tenants were lifting tiles to clean underneath them! The floor boards were rotting and in sections had to be replaced I am a great fan of owners... undertaking a bathroom project on their own, but please take advantage of a service that I provide. 22.01.2022 A new project! My current project has a first time for me, that is, the floor tile being a timber look 900mm x 150mm glazed porcelain. This tile was to be laid in the bathroom and laundry. As an added feature I thought I'd tile the bath apron in the same tile.... The wall tile is a 600mm x 300mm glazed white ceramic with a cross-hatch pattern. 16.01.2022 This job required some thinking outside the box. My customer had existing floor tiles laid years ago so there was no hope of finding an exact size/colour match to continue once an existing wall was removed which opened the floor to be continued. The idea was pitched to lay a black border between the two bodies of tiles.... I hope you guys enjoy! Support local.

12.01.2022 I'd like to share one of my latest projects. The job was to remove existing tiles, surface grind, then lay the new floor. However, upon using a jack hammer to remove the existing tiles the slab was also lifting! Satisfied that the original tiles were bonded to the slab adequately, the floor was repaired as required, topped, surface ground, then re- tiled.... Enjoy the pics and remember, Support local!

04.01.2022 Another quality bathroom renovation completed. Thank you Leigh and Jenna Robe for your business. The project details are as follows: 300x300mm glazed porcelain floor tiles straight laid flowing into a 1200x1400mm frameless shower recess enclosed by a single 960x2000mm high glass panel ... 200x300mm gloss white ceramic wall tile laid horizontal. A niche is recessed into a shower wall with marble and aluminium feature. The feature also runs floor to ceiling through the window frame. The tile edges to the niche and window frame are finished with curved white tile trim. Floor grout is smooth light grey and wall grout is superfine white which is anti-fungal and anti-microbial (which means no unsightly mildew). All internal corners and where a tile meets tile is sealed with white bathroom silicone.
