15.01.2022 I had a visitor today who holds a very special place in mine and my childrens hearts. Local Bracken Ridge resident Val Lack taught my son piano and her daughter taught my daughter violin. Vals mum Mackie also taught them music theory. Val and her family have nurtured many local children and enriched their lives through music. Today Val has kindly given our community another gift by donating to our Library a copy of her poetry compilation A life in Verse. This book is so hot off the press it even includes a poem on COVID 19!
