21.01.2022 Let’s stay safe this NYE. There will be no fireworks display and large outdoor gatherings will be prohibited in-line with current restrictions. From 5pm tonight the following restrictions will be in place in Victoria: - The limit of people gathering in the home will be reduced to 15 from 30.... - Masks will be mandatory indoors. If you are planning to leave your home take a mask and it needs to be worn any time you are inside apart from when you’re eating or drinking. We all need to be COVID Safe: Don’t go into the city unless you have a booking. Wear a mask indoors. Practice good hand hygiene. If you are sick, stay at home. - Anyone who has been in or visited the Blue Mountains or Wollongong regions from 27 December will have until 11.59pm tonight to enter Victoria. - You must apply for a new travel permit through Service Victoria, get tested within 24 hours of returning to Victoria, and self-quarantine at home for 14 days from when you last left the region. - Travel to and from New South Wales should be reconsidered. If you are visiting regional New South Wales, you should consider returning home. Restrictions may be imposed at short notice. 17.01.2022 Noble Park is one of the suburbs in the City of Greater Dandenong that got less open spaces compared to other suburbs. We need more pocket parks for our residents to enjoy whether for walking, exercising, picnic or a playground for the kids to play. This year council managed to get two pocket parks. Top pic - New Park at 89 Douglas St, and it’s currently in the process of landscaping.... Bottom pic- A pocket park at Kenneth St, Noble Park, awaiting for planning/design & residents consultation. 11.01.2022 Today is National Police Remembrance Day, we pause to remember and honour the lives of the 23 Victoria Police officers, Protective Services Officers, Police Custody Officers, Victorian Public Service staff and Police Chaplains who died between 29 September 2019 and 29 September 2020. This year, due to coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions, a virtual National Police Remembrance Day (Victoria) memorial service will be streamed on Victoria Police YouTube from 10am AEST on Tuesday 29 September, in lieu of a traditional service.
