17.01.2022 ***AUDITION NOTICE*** Cracked Actors are asking performers to respond to this casting call for a number of roles in a number of productions coming up at the Cracked Actors Theatre (CAT) post lockdown. Some of the shows we are casting for include:... Sticky Beak at Peaking Duck by Nichelle Claire & Billy Loves Cha Cha Forever by Noel Anderson. Both scripts were selected at the CAT's Summer Reading 2020 Festival. We are specifically seeking to fill the roles of a Drag Queen (late 20s, early 30s) and several females and males aged between 20 & 60. A number of the roles are for performers of Asian appearance. We welcome applications from everybody! So please email your info to [email protected] today to be in the race. Productions will be run as profit share. Auditions, Rehearsals and Performances will be held in a COVID safe environment and strictly adhere to relevant guidelines and legislation. These productions are being supported by Creative Victoria as a part of the Sustaining Creative Workers Initiative.

17.01.2022 Cracked Actors Theatre are delighted to welcome Alexander Lloyd to the CAT for 7th Floor Theatre's outstanding production of 'Where's My Money' (bookings at www.trybooking.com/eventlist/cat). Hailing from from Adelaide, Alexander has worked professionally in film (Awoken, A Second Chance: Rivals!) and television (Why Are You Like This?) In 2019 he had the pleasure of working extensively in the Melbourne independent theatre scene; Love's Labour's Lost and Taming of the Shrew (...Dir. Jennifer Dean), BlackRock (Dir. Nicola Bowman), and You Look Like Your Father (Dir. Marcia Lemm). Alexander is a graduate of the Film & Television Studio International Full Time Program (2017), and has trained with esteemed local and international actors and teachers at The Film Space and AMAW Sydney. Alexander is relishing the opportunity to play 'Henry', a matrimonial lawyer, in Where's My Money and audiences are relishing the prospect of seeing this talented performer tackling this coveted role! 17.01.2022 Cracked Actors Theatre (CAT) welcomes Laurence Young who will appear at the CAT for the very first time in 7th Floor Theatre's production of 'Where's My Money' (bookings at www.trybooking.com/eventlist/cat).Whilst studying at Federation University's Arts Academy in Ballarat, Laurence performed in 'A Woman of No Importance' (Lord Illingworth) and 'The Comedy of Errors' (Antipholus of Ephesus) After graduating, Laurence embarked upon his second season with the Australian Shakes...peare Company playing various roles in the 2019/20 season of 'Hamlet' directed by Glenn Elston, a production which followed his involvement in the company's 2018/19 season of a certain Scottish play. Despite 2020's setbacks Laurence has enjoyed playing Romeo in the R + J Incursion Program (ASC Education) and participating in various creative developments and online play readings. This is Laurence's first time working with 7th Floor Theatre and he is excited to bring Shanley's punchy, dark comedy to life. Laurence is a proud member of MEAA. See more

Clare has trained at Atlantic Acting Schooll in New York City, where she developed a love for Broadway and bagels! She has appeared in film, TV and stage, challenging herself in dramatic and comedic roles. Recently, she played the lead role of Blanche DuBois in 'A Streetcar Named Desire'. Highlights from her stage career include; 'Love/Sick, Mr. Bailey's Minder', 'The Glass Menagerie' and La Mama Theatre Explorations. Clare is thrilled tobe back on stage, with an 'exquisite' cast and crew. We are even more thrilled as we have been wanting to have Clarè perform at the CAT for ages! Welcome to Cracked Actors!

02.01.2022 Cracked Actors Theatre (CAT) are proud to announce that Gabrielle Curtain will join the team as Stage Manager & as understudy for the role of Natalie in 7th Floor Theatre's production of 'Where's My Money' (bookings at www.trybooking.com/eventlist/cat). Gabrielle has collaborated on various original works & performed in classical & contemporary plays by Euripides, Ibsen and Brecht. She has worked extensively in all things media, arts & entertainment - from education theatre, ...to radio broadcast, independent film & art merchandising. Career highlights have included Opera Australia's 2016 production of 'The Ring Cycle' at the Arts Centre Melbourne & the role of Fleur in Top 10 finalist film 'A Toothless Tale' at 2019's Run N' Gun Film Festival in Vancouver. Gabrielle has always been a fan of John Patrick Shanley. She is thrilled for the opportunity to combine several of her passions in this production by both understudying the role of Natalie & also getting back to her roots in stage management.
