05.01.2022 So today we received yet another phone from a customer who had their device cheaply repaired before. Pictured below on the left is the screen which came off this particular customers phone. Actually I didn't take much off the phone because it literally fell off the phone itself... The screen which was previously installed was a cheap aftermarket screen. The back light and the frame had both separated from the screen causing the home button cable to rip out from the housing o...f the phone. This is a very common problem as many places use the cheapest quality parts they can find. Our screens simply don't do this as we source all our parts from reputable suppliers and we DON'T buy the cheapest screens! 02.01.2022 With Summer time approaching we start to see a lot of people accidentally go swimming with their phones. Do you know what to do with a water damaged phone? If you answered put it in rice you are wrong!... Rice cannot get into your phone and even if it did miraculously absorb all of the water out of your phone it does not solve the problem. From the moment your phone comes into contact with water a residue is also brought into the phone and ultimately it is this residue which starts to create corrosion and irreversible damage to your phone. So what do you do if you drop your phone in water? There are 2 very simple steps... 1. Power off your device and do not attempt to power it on or plug it into a charger or computer. 2. Bring it to us so we can open the phone and remove and properly clean all the components with our special formula. If you bring the phone to us within 24 hours of being water damaged we can almost guarantee the phone will be working in perfect condition. The longer you wait the harder the phone is to fix and this also adds to increased costs to repair the phone. We offer a free assessment and only charge a fee if the phone is fixable. Prices start from as low as $50! (Pictured below is a water damaged phone which the customer said was sitting under a hair dryer for 10 minutes... This is another thing you should definitely not do! As you can see even after being under a hair dryer the phone still had lots of water trapped inside)
