11.01.2022 Just received some very exciting news - A book written for Education Qld by our Co-Founder and principal director Aboriginal author Nola Turner-Jensen is to be featured on Channel 9’s reading@home TV program, aimed at Kindy and Prep children. This program has been developed to ensure children learning at home still have access to quality children’s literature during the pandemic. We are excited to share that Nola's book "Uncle’s Boomerang" is set to be one of the books feat...ured, read by State Schools Indigenous Education Acting Director-General Dave Hartley. Education Qld stated they are thrilled to expose young Queensland children to this book. A recording of each episode will also be posted on the Queensland Education Department’s YouTube Channel. Stay tuned

09.01.2022 I hope everyone that is now supporting children that are learning from home is doing OK. We are busy developing new resources to add to our already huge site. Stay tuned - Take a look at our amazing storytelling videos read by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders like Aunty Ruth featured in the photo below. Aunty Ruth is reading Stolen Girl a great book that sensitively covers the topic of the Stolen Generation. This topic is very personal to Aunty Ruth as she grew up on a Mission. We were privileged to have her read it.
