The aim of Simultaneous Storytime is to promote the value of reading and literacy and to promote the value and fun of books. This year the book chosen is called Whitney and Brittney Chicken Divas.

04.01.2022 There was a buzz of excitement for Talk Like A Pirate Day! The children enjoyed dressing up like a pirate or mermaid and engaged in lots of play featuring pirate ships and buried treasure. Some pirates were even made to walk the plank! Talk Like A Pirate Day is recognised as a major fundraiser for Childhood Cancer Support. Thank you to all of our wonderful families who supported the day with a gold coin donation. Your generosity is much appreciated.

01.01.2022 WORLD EARTH DAY The children at Cradle to Crayons recently celebrated World Earth Day. Earth Day reminds us to take care of our planetwhether it’s cleaning up litter, planting more trees, recycling and repurposing, or going on a walk in a green space. The educators organised some thoughtful experiences to encourage the children to discuss and reflect on how we can protect our planet. These included art experiences, a scavenger hunt and exploration on the nature block and setting up a recycling system.
