21.01.2022 The clay creations inside the craft packs: a fish for ages 6-8 and a bird for ages 9-12! This project will come with all the materials required including clay and a link to a video tutorial that will demonstrate how to make your own fish/bird! 18.01.2022 Sneak peek of some of the goodies in the Easter Paper Crafts Kit! Spent the day recording video tutorials for all the activities and making up templates! Am currently in the process of making up the packs so let me know if you would like one! They will be ready to pick up from tomorrow lunchtime in Witchcliffe and are $10 each. All your kids need are scissors, glue and textas or colour pencils! Suited to ages 6-10.

15.01.2022 Here's a bit of an introduction about me for all the new people to the page, and so you can put a face to the name! My name is Jilly, I originally grew up on a farm in Woodanilling, went to uni at Notre Dame in Freo and graduated with a Bachelor in Outdoor Recreation in 2013. I then went on to work as an instructor on primary and high school outdoor ed camps in Margs for several years. Unfortunately I was unable to continue after a while due to having Fibromyalgia and Chro...nic Fatigue and just becoming too exhausted and run down, so I decided to take a break. Art has always been a passion for me, so I enrolled part time in a Cert IV in Visual Art at Tafe and my husband came up with the idea of renovating an old caravan to use as an art studio...and The Craftanoon Caravan was born! Since then I have been running after school art classes, holiday programs, workshops for both kids and adults, birthday parties and attended markets. I absolutely love coming up with creative and fun art ideas and having students come and participate in the van, every session is different! Will post more about me soon but for now I think that is plenty!! See more

12.01.2022 Final session of the term with my younger artists (finishing early this term as I'm getting married in 2 weeks eeeeeeee!) We finished up our recycled junk robots and then spent the rest of class making Christmas crafts was a great way to end the term! . @ The Craftanoon Caravan
11.01.2022 Final session for the year today! Remembered I hadn't put up their finished pop art pieces as they all finished at different times-so here they are! Love how unique each one is, they all did such an amazing job Today as it was the last class, the students had a free session to create what ever they felt like and had the option of making Chrissy decorations which some of them did. Was a crazy session with all sorts of artworks produced, always love their great ideas when they have freedom to create! can't wait to see what next year brings! @ The Craftanoon Caravan

I'll make up some kits with a couple of different activities (cards, baskets, etc), templates and video tutorials to go with, ready for pick up from Witchy on Friday arvo (possible delivery option depending on interest). All your kids will need at home is scissors, a glue stick, textas/colour pencils and a device to stream the instructional videos. Packs will be about $10ea.... Suit ages 6-10. 06.01.2022 EXCITING UPDATE of things to come for The Craftanoon Caravan this year..... (drumroll please ) This year will be my first year participating in Margaret River Region Open Studios! Very excited and nervous for this-will be very busy until then getting lots of pieces ready for the event.... Will also be spending time getting my new *MOBILE* Craftanooon Campervan ready for events out of Witchy-including markets and birthday parties! So watch this space!!
06.01.2022 First week back craftanooning! My older group created animal silhouette landscapes inspired by Thiago Bianchini, using the new prismacolour pencils I recently brought and started on some string art. Younger kids created string art pieces using cork board, pins and wool. Is great to have them all back!

05.01.2022 Some of you might have been wondering why I've been a bit quiet lately-so thought I better check in with an update! Recently had one of the most crazy days/weeks of my life getting married to my best friend and have since been celebrating with all our amazing friends and family (some of whom travelled from overseas) who are over staying with us. At this stage we are still spending time with them, although I'm hoping to run a couple of classes in late Jan, we are also taking time to enjoy the break together. Keep an eye on the Facebook page for any events that may come up, otherwise it will be back to Term Time Craftanoon's in Feb. Hope you're all having a great summer and getting your craft on!
