21.01.2022 Checkout our newly completed Nunawading project. A 3 townhouse development that we constructed on a reasonably small block. For this build we worked very closely with the owner on customising inclusions and selections for the units to give them a result they're extremely happy with. 21.01.2022 A couple of shots from our recently completed single storey new home project in Croydon Hills. These plans were a customised adaptation from the Independent Builders Network plans range.
21.01.2022 Raj contacted us in late 2018 to quote on a 3 townhouse project consisting of 2 x 3 bed and 1 x 2 bed townhouses in a reasonably compact design on a 739m2 block. The largest unit is Raj’s own home. For this reason that unit was fitted out with some extra custom inclusions. From our initial dealings with each other during quoting Raj decided to choose Craft Built Homes as his builder. Nathan, Josh and Kristan were fantastic through the entire process of our build. We designe...d the three townhouse development with an architect and decided to engage Craft Built Homes (CBH) for our build. Nathan produced a detailed and tailored quote and provided timely responses to adjustments and general queries during the quotation process. We selected CBH as they are local builders, had good references, are part of the Independent Builders Network and were transparent and clear in their pricing - which was the foundation of the trust that was built with them. They even gave us estimated costs for items outside of the contract which really helped us budget for the construction. Something that was extremely helpful and no one else provided. 20.01.2022 They may not look too imposing in these shots but these 2 recycled Ironbark 200x200 posts weigh about 380kg between them and will make a fantastic entry feature for our current reno/extension in Croydon. Can't wait to see them upright after a sand and oil.

17.01.2022 If you are feeling confused about whether you are eligible for the Home Builder Government Grant - we are here to help with everything you need to know! Firstly - what is it? Home Builder was released by the Government as an economic response to COVID-19. When first announced Home Builder provided eligible owner-occupiers (including first home buyers) with a grant of $25,000 to build a new home or substantially renovate an existing home with contracts required to be signed b...y December 31 to qualify. The grant has now been extended until March 31 2021 with $15,000 on offer for eligible recipients to put toward their new home or renovations. In addition to this, the criteria surrounding the capped total property value has also been increased to $850k for new home builds in Melbourne as well as the construction commencement date being extended from 3 months to 6 months from the date of contract signing. 15.01.2022 Do you know the Federal government Home Builder stimulus package has been extended? With time running out to prepare plans and sign contracts by December 31 to receive the $25K package, a smaller $15K stimulus incentive will run for contracts signed between January 1 and March 31, 2021. In Melbourne, for the January to March period, the new home qualification value has been increased to $850K (including land). The renovation grant qualification value remains at under $1.5M pr...ior to the renovation. 10.01.2022 RINGWOOD NORTH | NEW HOME CBH was approached by the owners of this small weatherboard home they’d lived in for 10 years as their children were growing and they needed a bigger home. ACE Drafting Services & House Plans had provided them with a great design, a double storey, split level home with eye catching roof lines on a reasonably steep block.... The initial plans indicated weatherboard cladding for all external cladding, which the owners indicated they wanted to change and be a bit more adventurous with. In conjunction with the owners, we came up with some great ideas for external materials to give the home some individual flair, which included: Separated spotted gum battens over a black backing Upper storey spotted gum shiplap boards to contrast with the battens Large section cement panels Black bricks to the garage and chimney Spotted gum decking. Construction on the home took 8 months and the owners and designers were blown away with the results at completion. https://www.craftbuilthomes.com.au/
