21.01.2022 As we prepare to open our seating and welcome back dine in customers from tomorrow, theres a few things we wanted to let you know. Our cafe normally seats 100 guests. Tomorrow were allowed to set up 10 seats. While thats better than none, running with only 10 seats and with COVID restrictions will certainly make things tricky for a while. The open nature of our cafe makes taking bookings not possible, so we ask that guests dining with us stay only as long as you need ...to enjoy your food and coffee, so other regular customers can do the same. We have no intention of pulling out a stop watch, but we think about half an hour is fair. Of course if it takes a few minutes more or less, thats ok. During this stage of restrictions, we will be serving your food and drinks in disposable plates and cups. This is to keep everyone safe and is only temporary. We will be bringing our usual plates, cups and cutlery back soon. For possible contact tracing, the government needs us to collect the name, address and phone number of all guests dining with us. Serving you in this way is new to all of us. We are doing our best within these trying times and we thank you for your continued support. In case we dont get the opportunity to seat you tomorrow, all of our food and drinks are available to take away. So one way or another, we hope we can look after you. Sadly theres a lot we cant do at the moment. We can however still enjoy good coffee, be nice to each other, be considerate of other people and together we can help stop the spread of the virus.
