20.01.2022 Just letting everyone know there will be no more Monday night Social Capers. I would like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who has attended these nights for the lovely evenings we have had. However the Friday morning get-togethers will continue - usually held on the third Friday of each month. The next gathering will be on Friday May 19th - if you are interested in joining us please email me at [email protected] The theme will be shaker cards - Angelika will be bringin...g a Papertrey Ink Shaker box die set for us to play with. If you want to play, you will need to BYO everything - card in three matching colours, possibly matching paper as well, acetate, double-sided tape, adhesive mounting foam, sentiment stamp and ink, shakey stuff that is thinner than your mounting foam. This list may not be complete - let me know if you think I have forgotten something. 20.01.2022 Hi Ladies - Friday Social Capers is here again - this Friday June 9th. I will have some stencils if people want to play with them - you will need to bring what ever you want to use them with - for example watercolour paper or smooth white card, inks or ink sprays, sponge dauber, or stencil paste and spatula. 17.01.2022 Recently I have had a few ladies enquire about card and scrapbooking kits. So I have prepared a couple. The card kit comes with everything needed to complete two cards. The scrapbooking kit comes with everything needed too. Both have written and photo instructions. Card kit $15 Scrapbooking kit $25 Postage is extra. These will be available in a couple of weeks. 16.01.2022 Social Capers - more dates for your diaries. Monday April 3rd will be the next night at the Warwick Church of Christ hall - as usual 6:30pm to 9:30pm. We had a lovely session this morning at Shirleys - there were two mens cards available to make. I will bring the stamps used and the sample cards if anyone is interested on the Monday night. The next Friday session will be April 21st 9:30am to about 1:00pm.

15.01.2022 Lots of fun had by those of us who played with shaker cards today. The next Friday Social Capers ... get your diaries out and SAVE THE DATE ... will be June 9th. Yes that IS only two weeks away. Please let me know if you would like to come and join us.

14.01.2022 Hi ladies. Due to unavoidable circumstances the Friday Social Capers scheduled for May Friday 19th has been moved to the 26th. We will still be doing shaker cards - BYO everything you might need for a shaker card including acetate, shaky stuff, and adhesive mounting foam plus suitable sentiment stamps. 13.01.2022 Hi Ladies - a quick reminder that the Monday night Social Capers start up again for the year on this coming Monday - Feb 6th. As usual at the Warwick Church of Christ hall, Ellersdale Rd, from 6:30pm till 9:30pm. Well done to everyone that spotted my email error re Feb 1st - we still had a calendar from last year on the fridge and a member of the household who shall remain nameless had cut off the 2016! I have been asked if we could look at making Pocket Tissue Holders. Some...thing like the one below. I am happy to bring along the oval die for the opening and a frame die you could put around the opening. You would need to bring cardstock (11" x 4 1/4" plus extra for decoration if required) and papers and embellishments. I will have some papers and cardstock with me if you want to make up a template. I will also have printed instructions available. Please let me know if you want to play too.

13.01.2022 Here comes another one ... Hi Ladies - a quick reminder that this coming Monday night March 6th is Social Capers night. As usual at the Warwick Church of Christ hall, Ellersdale Rd, from 6:30pm till 9:30pm. Yes it IS a public holiday - you will hopefully be rested and will have had an extra day to decide what to bring ;) I am looking at demonstrating how to use Liquid Pearls and Distress Inks to make gorgeous backgrounds for your cards. Why not bring along your Liquid Pearls, Distress Inks and sponging tools plus a craft sheet and play along! This Friday (Feb 17th) is the day for another Social Capers morning group at Shirleys in Watermans from 9:30am - you need to email Jill for the address or use the Comment option here. Please dont leave this to the last minute (like I have) - time is needed to organise enough tables, chairs etc. We had a lovely time last month and would love you to join in the fun.
