25.01.2022 Even though there’s nothing to gain vote wise at a ballot draw, it’s part and parcel of being a candidate. If you’re absent for this simple little task, what else will you be absent for?? Craig

23.01.2022 Good afternoon all. I'm trying to attach a file to this post but it seems that I cant. Its going to make it one hell of a long post, as ill have to copy and past it here. This was a Q and A that was sent to me for the upcoming election. as it will be shortened to fit a newspaper, I believe that it only fair to show all the answers in full to you all. 1) Why should the voters of Traeger put you as their number one on the ballot?...Continue reading

17.01.2022 So today the booths open for early voting. It’s expected that 30% or more voters will chose this option. To save the rush on the 31st. Postal votes are also on the go as we speak. Accounting for even more of the pole. This is what the ballot paper will look like, to vote me, you need to put a number 1 beside my name and 2 through to 6 in what ever order you like in the rest of the boxes. Please make your vote count and NUMBER EVERY BOX. Through work commitments I can’t be at... any booths, and because I’m doing this all by myself, I need you to send my message around. It’s time that someone is elected that will do their best for every person in this electorate. Craig

14.01.2022 Health care, South East corner. Today with election promises all over the show, what does labour come out with???? Apparently, it’s to far to drive the 35km (or what ever) to a hospital that can offer kidney dialysis services. So apparently the 120km from Cloncurry doesn’t count? Is it the same for those at Charters??? How about the community’s north of the Flinders Hwy, or for that matter EVERY TOWN except for Mount Isa.... This brings up 2 comments, our Labour candidate supports this, as he’s in that party. It will be part of their promise, so he’ll have to agree. The incumbent however, has brought this to the governments attention, I will give him that. But, he has failed to be able to negotiate even a small percentage of any funding that the South East corner receives in the past. This all or nothing way is harmful to us. We continue to miss out on projects and services through failures in talks. It is common to use the all or nothing approach sometimes, but a compromise approach almost always offers better results. Craig

04.01.2022 So the Libs want to issue fines to fix this??? Fine the parents??? I’ve said this for well over 6 years. Both in public and in my last campaign. This problem is generations old. It took 20 years to get to where we are now, and you think you’ll fix it in a term of government? You’re kidding right.... The governments job would be so much easier if the community took charge of this, and not vigilantes, but community taking responsibilities BEFORE they get into the legal system. We’ve taught children from the 90’s they have rights, but how about we teach them they also have responsibilities!!!! Craig.
