24.01.2022 *** Supra Clear Night *** About a month ago during one of the best nights of the Milky Way season I photographed this awesome Toyota Supra. There was no wind at all which was important with the nearby trees in the multiple long exposures. You can also see Jupiter shining very brightly above the car. Here is the final image.

21.01.2022 *** FIRST SUNSET OF AUGUST *** There was next to no wind at all this afternoon and some small patchy low cloud and this instantly says to me to get a long exposure reflection image. Like with many of my locations it can be months or sometimes years before I get the right day to shoot there but all the locations are always in my mind even though the property owners may start to think I have forgotten about them. I found this spot about 6 weeks ago and even though today wasn't ...exactly what I wanted for this spot, I thought it would be a good practice run. Nice sunset for the first day of August 2020. 18.01.2022 *** ALIGNMENT OF THE AGES *** Hi everyone. I have a very special photo to share with you all. I first photographed this 1959 LA Case tractor about 9 months ago and have had this shot in my head to take ever since. Sunday night was the night to capture it here in the Lockyer Valley, Qld, it was perfect as there was no moon, no cloud and very importantly for this image no wind, not even a breath of wind, so the leaves on those trees didn't move at all for the multiple long expo...sures required for this image. Thanks to the help of the PhotoPills app I knew where the Milky Way core was going to be at dark so I could work out exactly where I wanted the tractor parked and my tripod and camera set up. I got the 4 things that I wanted to all in alignment for this image, the track, the tractor, the planet Jupiter and the Core of the Milky Way. I will definitely be hanging a enlargement of this image on the wall at home. A huge thanks to the property owners for all their help on the night. 13.01.2022 Back on Friday night the 4th of Dec there was a awesome lightning active storm in the Scenic Rim. I didn't have time to go storm chasing that night as I was to busy so I just set my camera up on auto pilot. 08.01.2022 After waiting very patiently over the last month for no moon, no cloud, no smoke and no wind between 6:30 and 7:30, last night I finally got my image. I have been eyeing off this high tank for years now and only recently asked for permission to photograph it. It was very enjoyable photographing this early last night as the stars were shining very bright and it wasn't all that cold. Just after I got my shots the cloud started rolling in, so i was very lucky.
