11.01.2022 In memory of Denis. Sunset on the Shoalhaven / South Coast, NSW, Australia (2018) When I started working in IT for BHP back in the early 80's, it was all a bit surreal no a LOT surreal!... I had no idea what Computers did/could do, and let's just say the "process's" around doing our work were a little "immature" . At high school, I had heard that "IT" was the Next Big Thing - good money and job security. I definitely wanted some of that! Anyway, during the early years at BHP there were a lot of "cowboys" that did whatever they wanted or thought should be done, without much thought for others or quality. However , there were a few older guys ( nearly 40!) that had more regard for quality, both in work and relationships. Dennis was one of these guys. Sadly, he passed away in October 2018. His son Graham came to work with us as well - also one of the very genuine "nice guys". Anyway, Graham asked me if I was interested in shooting an image for his family that they could print, and donate to the hospital here in Berry where his Dad had been nursed. I felt privileged to be asked. Graham provided some background, and mentioned a spot on the Shoalhaven River where, as kids, they have often gathered as family. This is the spot very peaceful very welcoming.

10.01.2022 "Sky Delight" Sunset / Jamberoo, NSW, Australia (2019) View My Online Gallery ... https://www.craiggreenphotography.com.au/ Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/craiggreenphotography/ For sunsets n sunrises, you will usually find me over at the ocean. However, I’m a country boy at heart ... farms, bushland, rainforest and wide open spaces! As little humans as possible, or at least just the good ones! I’ve been to this farm at Jamberoo many times, standing outside the gate, watching the sky and waiting for it to explode! Well, tonight was the night! So amazing standing there, listening to the cows, the birds and the farmer all going about their evening business, and watching that sky! (ISO100 f/5.6 1/13sec)

IG: https://www.instagram.com/craiggreenphotography/ Had a bit of hunch that there could be some colour this night, and I guess the fact that I haven’t been out for sunset in quite a while helped convince me that I was probably, most likely, well possibly right :) Not much colour at the start, a hint of gold 20 minutes before sunset A bit later, not much at all maybe time to head home Nah, stick around a bit longer Then this red glow just grew and grew Stunning!
