25.01.2022 Calling on all past and current students of CSD! Help support your dance family! I have created this Go Fund me page on behalf of my mother for CSD dance school in an attempt to help raise money for studio rent during these tough times. ... CSD has been operating for over 25 years under the direction of my mum Kathie. She has worked tirelessly over the years to to maintain a successful dance school for children of all ages and set up a factory to facilitate the needs of the school. Unfortunately the school has not fit the criteria for any council, government support grants or job keeper payments and with the extension of lockdown there is no reopen date in sight for this year. I ask if anyone has any spare change (even as little as $2) that they could contribute to relive some pressure off my mum and help with studio rent to keep CSD alive. It would be such a shame to see our community sports suffer and face closure as a result of this virus as sport has such a positive impact on children’s lives.

16.01.2022 Fingers crossed we will be able to open as per the Vic governments plan for indoor sports and recreation. Classes will run as per our term one timetable with the exceptions being musical theatre and cheer (these being high risk categories) Covid safe procedures will apply- these will be posted on our parent page shortly - all the staff have completed their covid safe training . We have all missed the kids and look forward to seeing them back dancing at CSD

07.01.2022 Very strange ending to our dance year with no production and no end of year break up party - but we survived this horrid year and we all managed to make it through to the other side. On behalf of the staff and myself we would like to thank all our CSD families who have helped ensure we made it through the covid nightmare. We thought you might like to enjoy a few happy snaps of the kids we took during the week. We are just so proud of how hard all the kids have worked since we’ve been back in the studio - we are putting together a video of their hard work for you. We hope you all have a merry Christmas with family and friends and a safe and happy new year. Onwards and upwards for 2021!
