22.01.2022 At this time of year we always enjoy bringing a selection of museum vintages out of the cellar to taste and sell at our final 'First Sunday' Tasting for the year. Although we won't be opening next weekend, we have sent a selection of older wines to the Langton's Auction site - including some Magnums. 04.01.2022 We were very excited to release our 2016 Craiglee Reserve Shiraz to our mailing list this week - made from grapes sourced from our original vines to mark 40 years since the vineyard was replanted. This is the first time we have made a Reserve Shiraz and it represents a rare moment of indulgence from winemaker, Pat Carmody. Max Allen called the Reserve a "great Australian wine and something every serious Shiraz lover should try". Mike Bennie - Wine/Drinks handed out 97 points and called it an "Epic wine. Complex, svelte, succulent and moving with confidence and assertion" and The Real Review gave us a cool 5 stars and 96 points. Not a member of our mailing list? 02.01.2022 It's late notice, but we have decided to tentatively dip our toes in to the new era of COVID-Normal and host our February First Sunday Tasting this Sunday (February 7th) from 12-3pm. We are very excited to welcome you back in-person for the first time since March 2020 and we will be closely following health protocols - including contact tracing, offering hand sanitizer and encouraging masks. .
