14.01.2022 Thanks to Covid-19, I have missed out on two dream jobs. One of which would have seen me relocate with the family to California to work on a couple of projects which would have blown your minds. The second of which means I just missed out on working on a film set with one of the best Horror Directors ever... something I’ve always wanted to be a part of. It’s times like this you want to be angry, yell... FTW, moan, kick the dirt and find the right to be an absolute arseho...le. Instead... I stay thankful that the opportunities arose. My family, my amazing wife and my friends. I stay humble in knowing that nothing should be taken for granted... and I remain positive that the opportunities will arise again for me one day. All this means is that good things come in time. It just wasn’t meant to be on this particular time, and I am now at peace with that. Have a great weekend all.

It was a cool experience, and a privilege to be a part of. Seven years later our research in the films; SIR NOFACE, TWO FACE: The Grey & PHANTOM RIDER, is now being distribu...ted by Gravitas Ventures / Red Arrow Studios, the #1 independent film distribution company in the world with over 300 distribution outlets and the ability to reach... ONE BILLION people. ONE. BILLION. PEOPLE. We traveled a few miles, driven some bumpy roads & crossed some hellish seas in the those seven years... and it's amazing to think that this humble little research organisation at the foot of the Blue Mountains in Western Sydney has the ability to reach a billion peeps. How very humbling indeed! A big congrats to Chad, Thomas, Justin, Laura, and the rest of the AGH Team. Persistence, hard work and dedication paid off.

I however, unknowingly interacted with one for near on two weeks. Nic and I will tell the story on an episode of The Chamber Door soon! 06.01.2022 Out of nowhere, I thought about my best friend today who was killed in a car accident with his father when I was still in school. His name was Mark, and we were pretty inseparable as kids. He was everything I wasn’t, and I was everything he wasn’t. Chalk and cheese - he was the really smart kid. Super intelligent, an amazing artist, shy and awkward with the ladies. I was the typical school sports wannabe, could get away with murder because of my sporting abilities, and manag...ed to get the girls to hang out with us. We were a pretty good match. Needless to say, his death affected me in many ways. I was surprised that he popped into my head today! Then, as I was sending some pretty important emails... a song came on the radio. This was the song that was playing in the car when he was instantly killed (in the old cassette player, that still had the ‘play’ button pressed). The song that was playing when his father crawled out of the drivers seat to hold his dead son, whilst he too succumbed to his injuries. I just wanna let you know mate... I hear you. I hear you buddy... and thank you for letting me know that I’m on the right path. Our lives didn’t end up anywhere where we once imagined... but It’s nice to know that you’re still looking over your old mate. Do you believe that spirit / loved ones can show their presence in such ways? Let me know... super interested in hearing about it.
