24.01.2022 TRY IN VISIT We always tell our patients we need at least 4 or 5 visits or sometimes more to make a new Denture. Making a new Denture is very personal matter and the skills of the Dental Prosthetist is always put to the test, so investing time and not rushing will ensure results are satisfactory. TRY-IN stage is very important as it will be the end result aesthetically. The teeth are set up in wax to try it on their mouth. As this is only in a wax set up, the colour & sh...ape can still be changed and the teeth can still move ie. twist, shortened to achieve the natural look that could suit the face of the patient. This visit is critical before the clinician can proceed to the next stage, which is the completion or the insertion of the new Denture. We urge patient to be honest and invest not only their money but their time when they make their appointment.
