25.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE We are ecstatic to see these changes being made, we did it Victoria! Amazing news for Metro Melbourne Businesses being able to get ready for some type of Covid normal. See below for the latest changes. From 11.59pm Tuesday 27th October these are the changes:... * All retail will open! * Restaurants cafes etc will open! Restrictions are outdoors a limit of 50 people, indoors upto 20 * Beauty and tattooing will reopen * Libraries and community venues will be able to open for outdoor events * The 4 reasons to leave home are removed * 25k radius remains in place and regional border remains in place * Weddings can have 10 people, funerals 20 people * Religious gatherings will increase to 20 people outdoors and 10 people indoors * Home visits, we will wait for news today to get specifics * Masks are still mandatory and keep on social distancing * Outdoor gatherings remain at 10 but can now be from more than 2 households * Outdoor community sport for under 18 and outdoor non contact sport for adults can recommence Then From 11.59 pm the 8th of November: * there will be no 25k limit! * There will also be no metro/regional border! * Gyms and fitness studios will open with some restrictions (see dhhs) * Restaurants cafes bars etc will then move to 40 people inside and 70 people outside with restrictions. * Funerals can have 20 indoors and 50 outdoors * Indoor pools will be open for 20 people View the full statement from the Premier below. https://www.premier.vic.gov.au/statement-premier-79



22.01.2022 Changes to Main Street Cranbourne Casey Council are currently planning to reshape Main Street between Sladen and Stawell Streets, they will Remove 1 lane of traffic from both sides (make the pavements wider)... Build numerous Seating areas on the pavements both sides for General use - not specific for any shop Reduce the speed limit in the area Encourage trucks to use an alternate route This is to encourage General Public to make more use of the area, especially the take away restaurants. This work will commence shortly and is in addition to the proposed changes to Clydesdale Square. Council are seeking public feedback, drop yours below!
