25.01.2022 Let us know who you think!

25.01.2022 Our club is deeply saddened by the loss of Di Datson, long time club supporter and most importantly mother to Life Member and club Hall of Famer Troy Datson. Di was a staunch Eagles supporter who was well respected around our club and will be sorely missed. We wish her entire family our love in this sad time.

25.01.2022 READ| 2020 Season Update: With yesterdays announcement of a return to Level 3 restrictions and lockdown, the AFL Outer East commission has made the immensely d...ifficult decision to cancel all football and netball competitions for the season 2020. AFL Outer East would like to thank all our, clubs, volunteers, officials, umpires, players, sponsors, commercial partners and the broader AFL Outer East community for their support and co-operation during these challenging and unprecedented times. We are immensely proud of the way our clubs, community and staff have met this challenge head on. Though disappointed there will be no football or netball in 2020, we shift our focus to returning bigger and better in season 2021. Read the full statement here: http://www.afloutereast.com///2020-season-update-8-7-2020/

23.01.2022 **NETBALL UPDATE FOR 2020 To Players, Parents & Supporters, Today we as a Netball Club have made the toughest of decisions, that it is in our best interest to opt out of playing senior netball for the 2020 season. We will still be entering junior teams in the 2020 season.... This decision has by no means been easy, we have asked for your input through the anonymous survey, which we appreciate all the honest replies. We have deliberated and considered every possibility for a return to play but given the most recent restrictions we feel as a club, the demands on social distancing, maintaining the required COVID-19 levels of hygiene as well and most importantly the health and well being of our players, supporters and general public far outweigh the need to play netball. Also the league can not guarantee that we as a club would not have to travel to venues outside the normal distance to play. The cover story that the AFLOE and Netball Victoria along with AFL Vic have given in there latest release says that there will be no crowd limits, there remains restrictions that we feel are not east to comply with and will ultimately be the responsibility of the club to maintain. It is not feasible for volunteers to be under the pressure of maintaining crowd social distancing, during games. As a club we now ask that you help us by supporting our junior teams as they compete in their season, if it is to go ahead. We are also looking forward to moving to our new facilities at Livingston in 2021. With the hope that we will be able to gain access to these brand new facilities before the end of 2020 and hold our 2021 trails at the new courts. We look forward to seeing you all at our post COVID-19 event that we will hold and also at our trials later in the year. Cranbourne Netball Club

07.01.2022 Today we as a football club have made the toughest of decisions that it is in our best interest to opt out of playing senior/reserve footy this year. We will be entering an Under 18/19s team in as we have no fears with them playing encouraging excessive crowd gatherings. This decision has by no means been easy; we have deliberated and considered every possibility for a return to play but given the most recent restrictions we feel that as a club, the demands on social distanci...ng, maintaining the required COVID-19 levels of hygiene as well and most importantly the health and well-being of our players, supporters and general public far outweigh the need to play football. On top of this is the continued exposure to our front line workers and the continued threat of the virus spreading. While people are out there risking their own health to protect that of others, it doesnt seem appropriate that we consider risking drawing large crowds together. While the cover story of AFL Vics latest release says there will be no crowd limits, there remains restrictions that we feel are not easy to comply with of which the club maintains the responsibility. Its just not feasible for volunteers to be under the pressure of maintaining crowd social distancing. We will now turn our attention to supporting our Under 18/19s and our All-Abilities teams for the remainder of the season should they get going as well as preparing to plan for 2021 and our move to our new facility at Livingston. As for our netballers, they are yet to determine their intentions and will release their statement early next week.

07.01.2022 The announcement everyone was waiting for (even more so than Dan’s on Sunday!) We can happily confirm Stu Morrish will be playing on in 2021

06.01.2022 We are thrilled to announce the re-signing of our Senior Coach Steve OBrien for 2021. Obee has been a wonderful leader to have at our club; a coach with an unwavering desire to take our club back to the top of the tree through his commitment to our cultural standards and people. As a club, were certainly looking forward to 2021 for all the obvious reasons. Well be very eager to reset our targets and with our new facility coming along nicely, were going to be set for a big year; particularly with the right man in charge to lead us.

06.01.2022 Let us know who you think!

05.01.2022 Congratulations to Shane Baker on becoming a Life Member of our club! Everyone, whether that be from Cranbourne or other clubs, can see just how much time, effort & love this guy puts into our club and we are forever grateful to have him around.

01.01.2022 Check out the link below to see an amazing progress video of our new facilities! We must take the time to acknowledge the tireless efforts of 2Construct, as the construction company tasked to build, the City of Casey and the State Government for their commitment to the project which will become our new home from 2021 season onwards. This is a venue that will be home to us for a long time and we as a club are truly appreciative of what we have in front of us.

01.01.2022 Small update on our new facilities at Livingston. Coming along brilliantly

01.01.2022 Join us in welcoming back Dom Carosella to our club. Dom comes back to us after a couple of years at Oakleigh Districts as the senior coach. Dom was coach of our triumphant 2018 Reserves team and with plenty of years coaching at the junior club as well as a year coaching our Under 19s in 2017, there is no doubt the colours gold and blue run deep through his veins. Dom will step back in in an assistants role for 2021 and we couldn’t be happier to have him and his family back at our club
