24.01.2022 Hi families, Now that we are on the home stretch for ALL students returning to school on Monday 12th October, can I please ask families to support the school on the following preparations in relation to hair colouring, styles, jewellery and cosmetics. Long hair is recommended to be tied back for safety and hygiene purposes. JEWELLERY One pair of stud earrings or sleepers are the only acceptable ear jewellery at school. Preferably necklaces should not be worn at school. Necklaces of a significant connection eg. faith related, are to be worn underneath the collar. COSMETICS Clear nail polish is school appropriate. 23.01.2022 Quick, those pesky bears have heard that holidays are near. Lets guess some more before they disappear. We are in the FINAL round of the bear hunt, Go to REMOTE LEARNING on the schools website to participate.

23.01.2022 We must thank Elite Property Management, for providing the massive enrolment board for 2021. It looks great - thanks so much!

22.01.2022 Today is R U OK? day

22.01.2022 Need something to do these holidays? ----------------------- Per the media release from Premier Daniel Andrews 21/09/2020 (https://www.premier.vic.gov.au/keeping-young-minds-active-a) "...Today marks the first day kids and families take a break from remote and flexible learning during Term Three school holidays. But there's still plenty on offer to keep our youngest Victorians active and engaged.... Aspiring young filmmakers can learn how to write their own scripts, build their own stop-motion animation and create a cracking contraption with Wallace and Gromit, thanks to the online offering at ACMI. While a trip to the NGV will have to wait a little while longer, kids can tune in to virtual art classes, download activity sheets and take artistic inspiration from their very own home, backyard or balcony. Arts Centre Melbourne will keep young Victorians singing, dancing and making music with Move, Make, Create" a series of online workshops and a Choose Your Own Variety special hosted by Ali McGregor with special guests Frank Woodley, The Listies and Dane Simpson. And following the booked-out end to its Term Three online disco, State Library Victoria will keep kids occupied with storytelling workshops and its virtual Storytime Sessions with some of Victoria's best-loved authors. By staying home and staying safe these school holidays, we can all help make sure Victoria is that much closer to reaching COVID Normal and make sure the next school holidays look a little more normal too." https://www.together.vic.gov.au/school-holidays-activities

21.01.2022 Sadly COVID has impacted many things this year, but one event our Year 6 students look forward to is the end of primary school graduation. We have been unable to raise funds through our usual means of choc tops, so we've had to be creative. We have 360+ unnamed pieces of uniform items from polos to bomber jackets and jumpers to dresses that have accumulated in lost property or the 2nd hand uniform rack. These items are in excellent condition and available to 'buy back' at... ridiculously low prices ($5 or under). Please read the notice for more details. NOTE: Please make sure all of your uniform items are clearly named, as any unnamed items will go straight to this 'buy back' fundraiser. Named items will be returned, and lost property will no longer be needed.

21.01.2022 Our bear hunt has come to an end, congratulations to the following detectives with the highest amount of correct guesses. Our winners have won the opportunity to decorate a bear, representing the student community. The bears will be delivered to your home this week giving you time over the school holidays to dress, accessorize, colour, draw or even tie dye. We can't wait to see how you decorate them. Thank you to everyone who participated!... *Special mention to Mrs DeMar for her creativity with the clues.
