Hi everyone, in 2011 I joined the education field and have worked in a variety of different roles in learning support as an Integration Aide and in Literacy Intervention, in Careers working with VCAL students for SWL and VET, delivering and managing nationally recognised courses for the RTO, and I have assisted in administration, mentoring and student wellbeing ser...vices. Most recently, I have delivered and assessed Certificate II in Community Services and worked as Severe Behaviour Aide. In any role I have taken on, my desire is to support students to achieve their goals, work at the best of their abilities and embrace everyone's diversities. 16.01.2022 I’m really excited to announce that Cranbourne West Secondary College will run an accelerated mathematics program for high achieving maths students. Making use of our great new facilities, students who demonstrate high ability in maths will be able to participate in an extension program that challenges them and prepares them for senior maths methods and specialist maths. Additionally, we will run programs in literacy and numeracy that support those students who need a little extra assistance in those areas. Our Visual Arts and Technology programs will also promote excellence, with our objective to prepare students for all pathway options in the senior years. The best preparation we can give our students is plenty of hands on practice - and that’s just what we’ll be doing, right from day one!

13.01.2022 Dear CWSC Community, Thank you all for the way in which you have embraced learning from home. We have had a very smooth start, and aside from a couple of individual bumps, everything is progressing really well. On Wednesday 17th February, we will be having a curriculum day held remotely for staff. The school will be closed for the day so all students will be at home. ... The purpose of this day is to reflect on the first two days of remote learning, iron out any bugs and to continue to transition our curriculum and teaching learning into a more engaging remote experience. It is also a timely opportunity for students to have some screen free time and to refresh after a busy start to term. We will update you when we hear more from the Government. 08.01.2022 As 2020 a year like no other in recent memory draws to a close, we are excited to see what 2021 brings for our new school community. Cranbourne West Secondary College commences next year with about 200 students in state-of-the-art facilities. We have employed some of the best teachers in the state to ensure that our students get the best possible start to their secondary education. I’d like to offer a huge thanks to the teams at the Victorian School Building Authority an...d Kane Constructions for their work in getting the college ready for the 2021 school year. 05.01.2022 Dear CWSC community The Department of Education have not yet advised us if the Statewide Orientation Day for year 6 into 7 scheduled for December 8 is allowed to proceed. We have a full day planned if we do get approval and our expectation is that the day would be held onsite at CWSC.... In the event that the day does not get approved, we will instead hold a number of events where groups of up to 10 students will attend at one time. These will be shortened sessions of approximately 2 hours in duration where students will become familiar with the physical layout of the school, as well as get important transition information. It is likely that these transition sessions will commence in early December. You will receive plenty of notice. Thanks for your understanding. Rob

04.01.2022 Our builders, Kane, have reported that some people have attended the site seeking enrolment. Please contact us via email or phone if you have any enrolment enquires. The site is still very much under construction and no school staff will be onsite until later this year. Thank you for your understanding.
