13.01.2022 Congratulations Cr Munroe

12.01.2022 How did we do? We recently reached out with an online survey and virtual forms to ask how you want to have your say about what we do for our community. W...e heard your priorities, and how our decisions affects you. You asked us to be transparent, genuine, work with community groups, promote opportunities and make it easier to get involved. Now we'd like to know if our draft Community Engagement Policy reflects what you asked us to do. Give us your feedback in this short survey: https://bit.ly/3p2wCJw

10.01.2022 WHITEHORSE BUDGET 2021/2022 Do you know an area within the city which needs attention, or a project which will improve people's wellbeing? Or do you have an idea as where Council could be more efficient?... Please let me know your thoughts so I can present them on your behalf as part of the Council budget process. To meet timeframes, please email me at [email protected] by 16 December 2020. Thankyou

10.01.2022 WHITEHORSE COUNCIL CALENDAR This year, residents are able to download the Whitehorse Council 2021 calendar. However, if you want to use the Vouchers, you will need a hard copy. 09.01.2022 NORTH EAST LINK TREE PLANTING As part of the North East Link Project, the State Government is replacing every removed tree with two new trees, and they are seeking feedback on where to plant. I recommend you participate in the survey. Details are at https://northeastlink.vic.gov.au//en/tree-planting-program

04.01.2022 TIRED OF GETTING TOLD TOO LATE? Many residents have told me that often they find out about Council projects after the designs are complete and project build is underway. They have also said that they would like to be informed and involved sooner so they have an opportunity to shape the outcome. Community consultation is a balance between involving the community and getting things done effectively as possible. The Community Engagement Policy tries to strike this balance. The draft Policy is now available for comment. Please make your views known. Thankyou https://www.oursay.org/whitehorsecitycouncil/engagement
