13.01.2022 Well as predicted it looks like mandatory closures are imminent in the next 49 hours. I have moved as many clients as I can into tomorrow. My team are amazing and have dropped everything to work on their day off knowing this could be our last opportunity to look after our clients. 12.01.2022 Happy Easter everyone. Closed or open, about to close or about to reopen whatever it is let’s start to look forward. I have shared some of the things I’m doing to help my salon, @craniumhair with this. Yesterday I did a client retention report. I have a list for my team and an offer for these clients to get them back in. Before we do that we need to look at why they left! How do you do this? A call, could be awkward, an email - low open rate, a letter - how’s your data base l...ooking (more on this later!) what about a text with a link to a survey and the thank you is your offer to get them back in? Here’s the hint don’t make the survey too long just a few key questions - be honest you probably have an idea where you’re salon needs work. Pick your top 6 - 10 questions and send them the link. Focus your training on the feedback then invite these clients to return. The text should include their name so it’s not a bulk or generic text too. 09.01.2022 Just an update and a few ideas...in the next few days I’ll be launching a great initiative for the industry but in the meantime here are some things I’ve done for @craniumhair I have contacted every client from our closure on 23/3 to next Saturday. We have really strong bookings for our reopening next Tuesday. I’ve looked at our loyalty program and text whoever had enough points for a free cut to let them know - we got three bookings from this. We’ve reduced hours and days th...at we will open. If a team member can fill consecutive appointments we work if not we close. Our main stylist is on long service leave and our team have used all of their outstanding leave. It looks good for the next 3 weeks, we have solid bookings but we reassess each day. As everyone is I’m looking into all of the support packages available. We’ve focused on our top 100 clients, increased our loyalty offering to them as a thank you. I’ve sent hand written letters to them too. We’ve been doing home delivery products and no touch pick up is also available. Today I’ll be posting about our precautions for our reopening.
