15.01.2022 Welcome to World Monologue Games! www.monologues.com.au/WMG WMG is a global event allowing actors from anywhere in the world to take part. Everyone gets a free entry and there are cash prizes for the winners.... During these troubling times, we want to keep artists focused on a challenging project, provide entertainment, and pay as many people as we can. World Monologue Games sees actors perform in a range of categories, which depend on how many competitors from their country have signed up. Age, gender, city/state, duration of monologue. Industry judges evaluate submissions and the top performers from each category take part in a live stream event. Registrants also get free monologue training and access to a range of content.

06.01.2022 FEATURE CRASH TEST DRAMA ARTIST! Aimee Honor-Eltham has attended Sydney and Hunter Crash Test Dramas regularly. Here is her brief biography. Aimee Honor-Eltham is from Hunter south region. She is currently working on a short play called "Don’t Feed The Lion" for the Newcastle Micro Theatre Festival starting February 11, 2021. I remember walking out on stage for my first ever play in 2016. I’d never felt anything like it, and I’ve been chasing that feeling ever since. What ...does Aimee think of Crash Test Drama? I love it. It’s an awesome way for actors to hone their craft and meet other actors/writers/directors in the local area. It’s also excellent practice for cold read auditions! Her favorite actor is Jessica Chastain. She is a god. Her pace and subtleties are incredible. I fell in love with her after watching Molly’s Game, and have since been working my way through her filmography! Her favourite film and play are Dan In Real Life and The Importance of Being Earnest. Her aspirations are to make and be in things that she's proud of with people who are proud to be a part of it too. See more
05.01.2022 We are a group of artists passionate about creating original theater in the form of 10 minute plays. Crash Test Drama stretches the creative muscles and promotes great experiences for all involved. We also believe good work should be immediately rewarded, so the door takings go towards prizes for the winning writers, directors and actors. Being around creatives is fun and inspirational. We host events in the Greater Hunter Region and thankfully get some mentoring from other Crash Test Groups in Sydney and Regional Australia. We have even have government sponsorship from Lake Macquarie Council! Originally set up as a feeder for the Short and Sweet Festival, Crash Test Drama has become a regular theatrical experience. We have highly experiences artists mixing with newbies so don't be shy experience Crash Test Drama!
04.01.2022 Thank you to all who attended our premier night in March at Brown Sugar. We want to start again soon but the venue is not available. We could do a Drama in the park - like Speers Point or Lambton. Otherwise we could Crash Test some new plays at a club in Newcastle. What do you think is best? This is a photo of 'Drama in the Park' Sydney - a friend of mine who runs their group says it is so much fun! Any ideas or suggestions welcome. Warm regards to you and your families.
04.01.2022 We are artists in search of our next venue! Writers have their work directed and performed by experienced actors so submit your 10 minute plays now!
