08.01.2022 We would like to share an incident which took place this evening where an UberEats driver slammed their car into the restaurant during peak hour. While the damages were high, we are grateful to our calm, composed customers and our beloved local community who helped us at the time, and for showing their continued support. We would like to extend our gratitude to all our patrons present who remained patient and displayed resilience throughout the course of the incident. There w...ere customers sitting in and around when the incident took place. We were still lucky as no one sustained serious injuries but worse could have happened. We cannot stress enough that some drivers really shouldn’t be on the road until they are confident enough. Inexperienced drivers can lead to serious accidents and can be unsafe on our roads. Food delivery companies should really strengthen and re-look into their driver hiring policies/requirements!
