25.01.2022 We are now taking bookings for the outdoor pool/squad! Thursday’s 6-7am adults and high schoolers Thursday’s 7-8am primary schoolers (invite and past swimmers only)... Wednesday’s and Thursday’s 3.30-4pm 4-4.30pm 4.30-5pm $200 for the term ALL must bring their own goggles, caps, kick boards and fins. 25.01.2022 The answer to some VFAQ VERY FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS We re-open for term 4 October 12 ... Intensives are both weeks of the coming Sept/Oct holidays Last week and this week we are doing ‘pop up make up lessons’ These are for the 3 weeks we closed due to covid in March. These lessons are advertised on this FB page. It is your responsibility to keep an eye out. They are not guaranteed and I am doing my best to keep everybody happy they are not for ANY missed lessons other than when we closed for covid, they are ONLY for clients that paid in full. Term 4 is 10 weeks for everybody. Lessons are $20 and payable by the term. $200 per child. In full at time if booking. (Minus active kids vouchers) No payment plans, for anyone. We are only communicating via FB, FB messenger and our mobile tx message service at this time. 0437222573 We are accepting active kids vouchers. Email them to us or bring a printed copy on your first day. Decide thoughtfully. Our courses are NOT refundable. 20.01.2022 Hey Crawchy family!!! How is everybody? We are beginning the slow road back to re opening. ... Our plans are to open for intensives in week 1 and maybe week 2 of the September/October school holidays. All this is dependent on the Covid seesaw that NSW is currently on. Please comment below if you are keen for intensives and/or term 4 so we can get a rough idea of numbers. Stay safe and be kind

20.01.2022 Hi swimmers, we hope your all well and staying safe. Just to answer a few questions that are popping up. We are not selling, we plan to re open and if anything major changes we will update here on our fb page. The sudden forced closure of our pool sent me spiraling into a pretty low place. ... Lots of questions, fears and doubt. I’m ok, but like many just took a while to process it all and sort out where we were at financially and emotionally. This whole process has been very confusing and I have been in many weekly zoom meetings with swim Australia, Austswim, Royal life, ASSA and many other swim school owners and managers nationally. Atm in NSW indoor pools are able to open shortly, however it’s only 25m and larger and only for stroke correction, not learn to swim. Our indoor lessons are classed as Learn to swim. Even when we are finally given the ok to open we will be dealing with winter (usually a 30-40% downturn) and the Bald Hill Road closure, again 30-40% of our clientele and staff. The swim school is our only source of income as a family. So opening early with the extremely high costs of heating the pool in winter is just not viable and could lead to us loosing our business. The restrictions to LTS will be as follows all doors to be left open parents to be in the water with all children under 5 no showers or change rooms to be open no clothes to be brought into the pool, towels and cossies only limited pupils in the pool 4square meter rule, so most siblings would be different day/times only 1 Carer per swimmer As a mum and with a long swim teaching career I know this is just not ideal. It will lead to a lot of children (and parents) hating the water. This has helped sway our decision. We are on jobkeeper but this has to keep our family going and float the ongoing costs of a small business. At this stage we will wait till term 4/October 12 and hopefully open with success. I know this is tough and our kids will have regressed in their swimming ability. But don’t fear, as soon as it is safe for all of us we will get back in the water and work harder than ever to get back those skills. What you can do to help us..... Save those Active kids vouchers, be patient, book in once we’ve opened, be flexible and give us all a big wave and a smile when you see us around. We miss you!! These are crazy time’s, we have all struggled in some way. But we’re in it together, stay kind and stay safe. Mel, family and the Crawchy team

16.01.2022 WE’RE BACK!!! Thank you THANK YOU thank you to the most amazing clients ever! Your support, kind words, patience and gratitude have been so reassuring in a very trying time. ... Back in March when we closed our doors we knew it would be for months, we didn’t know if we’d ever open again. We were both unemployed for the first time jn our lives and some weeks looked like we may not survive. BUT WE DID! The response to our re opening has been overwhelming. A massive thank you to our staff that have stayed through us with this. We can’t wait to see all your smiling faces little and big back in the water!!! 03.01.2022 WELL...... it seems we’re not! I will not accept bullying, gossip, abuse or threats. To myself or our staff. ... Covid sucks! 2020 sucks!! Due to loss of staff, new covid number restrictions, less staff and pupils allowed in the pool, THINGS HAVE CHANGED. You may not be able to keep your old time and day, you may miss out all together. We WILL NOT be doing payment plans for ANYONE. If you have not paid with in 3 days of booking your spot will go to someone else. If you don’t answer our message, we don’t wait! So the offered spot may not be available an hour later. We are not doing credits for term 1 when we closed due to the pandemic. We will offer make ups. We will have many ‘pop up’ clssses in weeks to come. They will be advertised on our FB page. Atm I am only using tx messaging and fb for re bookings as I am OVETWHELMED.
