24.01.2022 Master En-suite - I thought I would try and share some snippets of our home renovation when I can. Its hard because its not finished due to lockdown and Im battling my need to only post pictures once they look . That said, this is the Master En-suite double shower. You cant see but we have double taps, one for each shower head, and hand held shower. I wanted this option as Ive always found the lever mechanism that switched between usages never seemed to stay put - r...esulting in loss of pressure. 23.01.2022 Handwoven Hmong textile paired with our off-white Corduroy cushion. Photos don’t do these two justice. I especially love the olive stripe sandwiched between the Indigo. It gives the fabric that added depth. The corduroy has a velvet like feel and is just lovely to run your hand over.

21.01.2022 Anna Bay, NSW. This tin shack was made famous by the Mel Gibson movie Mad Max. I absolutely loved discovering this incredible rugged coastline while on a family holiday. To be honest, when I've previously thought of holidays, they have always led to oversea's destinations. This is in part due to all our family scattered across the globe, but also that in truth, it seemed the most exciting. This family holiday to NSW opened my eyes to the beauty on our doorstep. 14.01.2022 Its hard for me to believe Im sharing this, because cooking isnt my thing. However, if there is something good to come out of our lockdown its the zero food waste in our house. Im embarrassed to admit, come bin day I would often have to go through the fridge and throw out spoiled food. Mostly it was from my lack of thought for meal planning or leftovers that were never eaten. Only being allowed out to get what we need within curfew, has meant just that. It has also made me become more resourceful with what I use. Traditionally a strict recipe follower, this chuck it in a pan ideal is new to me. I cant tell you how relieved I am that a) it turned out and b) it tasted so good. . Swipe for the ingredients if you are interested.

13.01.2022 Bucking the current trends of matt black or brass hardware right now, I chose to stick with polished chrome throughout this renovation. This is the gorgeous Bronte Handle from @hepburnhardware. It is so solid and such a lovely handle to use. These wardrobe doors had to have a full strip down as the previous owners had painted water based paint over every oil based surface and it was peeling off everywhere .

07.01.2022 #NotaFoodBlogger If you saw my stories yesterday, I chucked this dish together made of leftovers for lunch. It was an attempt to step away from the sourdough which has been bringing too many of the Covid Kilo's . I didn't know how it would turn out but thankfully it was delicious. Cooking in my household is difficult with 3 out of the 4 of us having food allergies or restrictions. So when I find a tasty goodie you bet it's going on rotation.
