My job as an electrician is very challenging mentally and physically every day as I am employed as an operator as well as a tradesperson. I never get bored and I enjoy all of the new work, equipment and experiences that I am able to learn. --> What message do you want to get out about woman in the mining industry? If you are thinking of a change or have always wanted to try something challenging and hands-on. I couldn’t recommend mining enough for women that want to push themselves and learn so much more, not only in a new career but also about yourself. --> How important is a good pair of boots when working in a mine? I believe in any work environment, not only mining, quality footwear is essential.
