01.01.2022 Hi Everyone, You will be happy to know that we are back to full strength, all staff are back on deck and back from leave. IMPORTANT NOTICE: For any of you still using Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1, Microsoft are stopping support for both these versions of Windows very soon, as soon as January 2020 and these are already on what Microsoft call "Extended Support" as full support for Windows 7 and 8 stopped a couple of years ago.... Until the end of July, we have a special where we will upgrade your computer from Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 to Windows 10 for only $99 if you come to us or if you are unable to get into our workshop, we will come to you, pick up your computer, bring it to our workshop to upgrade and clean it and return it to you and set it up again for only $145. Microsoft are not currently charging for the licence for Windows 10 provided you have a current valid licenced copy of Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 but this free offer is likely to end soon although we do not know when this will be exactly as Microsoft have not advertised this offer not said anything about when it will end. Windows XP and Vista and older are not eligible for this upgrade offer and most computers of that age are not compatible with Windows 10. Once support ends for Windows 7 and 8, it means that any security loopholes that hackers find in these versions of Windows will not be fixed so your computer will be more vulnerable to hackers , scammers, malware and viruses etc. Your computer will continue to work after support ends for your version of Windows however it will be less and less secure and as time goes by, you will find you can't install the latest software or visit newer websites and eventually you wont be able to surf the web or access banking or Government web sites at all. If you require a home pickup service, bookings are essential. If you are dropping your computer into our workshop for the upgrade, bookings are optional however those who book will get priority over those who just walk in.
