13.01.2022 Crawleighwood Garden is waking up again!! After our quiet COVID year it's time to open the gates. Spring is well and truly upon us, so Pav is keen to open the nursery and garden (while Penny is still recovering from an op). Opening hours will be 10am to 4pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through Oct, Nov and until 19 Dec. The usual - $8 entry to garden, no charge to come into the nursery. Looking forward to seeing you all out and about again!

11.01.2022 So, tomorrow would have been our Autumn Open Garden. Given we have had to cancel due to COVID-19 - here are some happy snaps of Autumn in our garden from the last week or so. Enjoy!

10.01.2022 Some good news and some bad news from Crawleighwood Garden. The exciting news is - CWG will be featured on the ABC's Gardening Australia next Friday night - 20th March at 7:30pm. The bad news is, with all the challenges surrounding coronavirus, we have decided to cancel our Autumn open gardens which were scheduled for the weekends of 18-19 and 25-26 April. We have not taken this decision lightly, but given the risks to everyone's health we feel it is the only responsible thing to do. So our sincere apologies if this causes any inconvenience. But hey - you can see us in all our Autumn glory (filmed last April) on the TV this Friday! Hope to see you here in the Spring.

07.01.2022 These are pink variations of the Tasmanian leatherwood - pink cloud and ballerina. Pink leatherwoods are one of my all time favourite flowers. Exquisite! ...and they are in full form in the garden right now

06.01.2022 Happy New Year everyone! Crawleighwood Garden and Nursery is open again: Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from today (10am - 4pm). We've had a short break over Christmas and had fun cleaning up last week's problem and turning it into this week's opportunity!!

06.01.2022 Here are some gems currently flowering in the garden. Rhododendrons - Horizon Monarch, Ross Maude and Fire Rim, also Iris bracteata, Ajuga reptans and the stunning Clematis montana 'Elizabeth' going mad on the Californian redwood. We're open all Hobart Show weekend from Thursday to Sunday, so come and see these and more. Rhodos, azaleas and viburnums will be at their peak....

06.01.2022 After losing our beloved Jasper and Rosie last year our garden has felt very empty. To filled the terrible gap in our hearts we have welcomed a new puppy to Crawleighwood Garden - meet Winnie! She is an adorable red heeler/AmStaff cross. Some similarities to all our previous fur babies, but she definitely has her own character! ...and she is growing fast - now 16 weeks old.
