23.01.2022 Spring is here, I'm freshly yoga-ed, I've got my elevenses in my hand as we speak and I've been working on admin all morning for some exciting things at the end of the year. The end of the year. Already. Enter ... anxiety. My post-yoga glow didn't last long today! End of year? I'll never be ready in time! What have I been doing with myself? Hang on .. ready for what?! The usual markets are, clearly, not happening so I'm preparing a season of online goodies just for you. T...his is definitely the year for gentleness to ourselves and those we love so this season will be gentle, nurturing and cosy. And full of appreciation for you and your support of my small business. 18.01.2022 Hello lovely friends! These are definitely challenging times for everyone. I can't think of anyone who hasn't felt the rug pulled from under their feet in a blink of an eye so I hope you are all doing ok, and feel supported and heard. Hang in there. As a self-employed small business, your support IS everything to me. I've had the loveliest messages and I hope you know that each and everyone has made a difference to my spirits. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. As so...meone said recently, ‘the world needs more beautiful handmade things’ and I couldn’t agree more. To that end, I've created a new category in my shop - gift vouchers and are now available. My online store is open for business and I am making, filling and shipping your orders until I'm not allowed to any more. 18.01.2022 This very lovely surprise found its way to my inbox this week. A special appearance in the UK magazine The Simple Things The Simple Things. I met the Wishlist editor in London where my Rope Chain Necklaces caught her eye. I've had an opportunity (well, you've just got to look at the positives!) to stop for a minute and think through some niggling thoughts I've had about some designs. I have been well aware that offering a short and a long rope necklace was adding confusion... and I was often asked which one was most popular. Now, it maaaay look like procrastinating (that'll be enough from you, mum!!), but I have unearthed a whole stack of delicious long-gone early Crayon Chick treasures from deep in the archive. 04.01.2022 Next on my event schedule is my first time at River & Wren Market in Wagga on 01 March. Not only is it my first market of the year (the decade!) but it's my first market in my hometown.
