25.01.2022 Hypothetically, if I had next fortnights market nappies on the go, would you rather buy singularly or as a 2 pack, or should I scrap the idea cos its silly season & everyone's broke? Haha let me know your thoughts

23.01.2022 I haven't posted here in what seems like years. I've been trying to get the Christmas sewing out of the way for little Henry, and I'm super proud of my makes. With that, jump over to the VIP group because the custom list isn't very long and I'm itching to sew some more #handmadelife #houseofchaoscreations #bluey #spotlightfabric #sewwithwovens #allthetoddlerthings

23.01.2022 Our Bubba for today belongs to Roisin. How fierce does this little one look in their fierce beauty cloth nappy?! The joyous thing about this print is that it was XL scale and so we got full booty tigers, and they look absolutely amazing Remember to submit your OTB photo to have your Bubba pictured on the page throughout the months of December and January

20.01.2022 Looks like baby Claire is loving her HOCC nappies Thanks Sarah for all the nappy spam

17.01.2022 We currently (as of now) have 3 types of bib on offer, with a 4th style still in the making. Bib number 1: Just a regular bandanna style dribble bib although the bottom has since been changed so it rounds around now, which isnt drastic, it just doesn't have that little point anymore. ... Bib number 2: Another dribble style bib however has a little tail which loops around the handle of baby's dummy and clips up. So no need for dummy chains. Bib number 3: Our new released toddler feeding bib, it is absorbent, and is designed to cover the toddlers upper body as much as possible to keep their clothes clean Bib number 4: I'm still working on the specs but it is a toddler feeding bib with a food catching pocket, which will come in handy, especially for baby led weaning, when the food ends up everywhere.

14.01.2022 You know, up until a few years ago, i didnt know that our cycle is made up of 4 stages. I thought our cycle was just our period, and i thought that if you had a 28 day cycle, you were bleeding for 28 days. That would be a major inconvenience right?! So i thought id shed some light on the different stages our bodies go through during our entire cycle. Stage 1, is menstruation, generally lasting 3-8 days although some peoples are lucky enough to only bleed for 1 day and some pe...ople will bleed for 10. This varies from person to person. Stage 2, is the follicular phase. This is our hormones getting the egg all ripe, maturing it, ready for ovulation. The length of the follicular phase varies from person to person, because we arent all text book. Stage 3, is ovulation, this is where the egg is released from the ovary and makes its way down the fallopian tube and into the uterus. Textbook says we ovulate on or around day 14 but since we arent textbook, ovulation can occur anywhere in your cycle, which is why we cant trust period tracker apps. From experience, i know that ive ovulated on day 12 and i know its been as late as day 19, however, if youre someone who has long irregular cycles, its going to be much longer away than that. Stage 4, is the luteal phase, the two week wait if you will. Its those days after ovulation where the egg, if fertilised, will implant into the lining of the uterus, and the lining of the uterus is thickening. From a textbook stand point, this lasts 14 days and menstruation will begin again, however again, we arent textbook, it can last 10 days with one person and 16 days for somebody else. The only way to know for sure, is by taking your Basal temp every single morning before you get out of bed for the entirity of your cycle, to pin point the day you ovulate and so on. I plan on doing a post on FAM (fertility awareness method). With practice, FAM can be used as an effective birth control method :)
