07.01.2022 Don’t miss Council’s next Compost Giveaway this Tuesday 1 September at Beryl Humble Oval car park, Tenambit, from 3.00pm until all bags are taken. Two bags wil...l be provided to Maitland residents with proof of residency required. The giveaway will be facilitated in a drive through manner so residents can pull up and bags of compost will be loaded into car boots or trays by Council officers. The compost is made from material collected in our garden organics bins and you can find out more at www.yourorganicsbin.com.au

03.01.2022 Maitland Aquatics Centre will be opening Maitland outdoor pools, change rooms, splash pad and showers on Monday 28 September for the Summer season, in time f...or school holidays. Due to unforeseen and urgent repair works required, East Maitland pool opening date is yet to be confirmed. Patrons will no longer be required to pre book lanes and Aqua Classes and all Learn to Swim classes will be recommencing. Keep an eye on Council’s Facebook and website for more information.
02.01.2022 The Maitland Regional Athletics Centre is very close to completion and here’s a sneak peek of what to expect. The Centre features a World Athletics Certified s...ynthetic athletics track, playing field, track and field facilities, floodlighting, a grandstand with a capacity of 560, change rooms, canteen, two large function spaces and car parking. Access for the general public is planned to commence in time for summer walks and exercise with family and friends. Keep an eye out here as more details will be announced soon.
