24.01.2022 POSSIBLE DELAYS Not sure if removal has occurred but we had a waste collection truck breakdown in the left hand lane southbound on the M1 (before the Foxwell Road exit). The truck is to be towed as soon as possible but there may be delays to motorists. Apologies for any inconvenience ... there will be no disruption to collection services.
23.01.2022 EARLY STORM SEASON Stormy and windy weather have resulted in some fallen trees and signage across the Division. Clearing and reinstatement has been requested. Litter continues to accumulate near our boat ramps and Waste Management branch is considering additional bins at Coomera. Please keep me up to date with issues or requests. The end of the year is fast approaching and there will be larger than usual agendas to work through I value your feedback to help in addressing... things in the area you might notice that need attention. Continue to raise any issues with my office 07 5581 6598 or email [email protected]

10.01.2022 We are all angry at the actions of vandals on Amity Road, Coomera last night. Street trees have been ripped out, broken and pushed over, causing thousands of dollars’ worth of damage. The damaged trees will have to be replaced. It really is concerning to see this senseless damage and such a total waste of ratepayer funds that could be better utilised elsewhere. #AmityRoadVandalism #CoomeraVandalism #SenselessDamageCoomera
