24.01.2022 I have taken a photo of the scarf so you can have a look at the design. The sizes are 58cmx170cm,58cmx140cm,60cmx180cm. This is the long and medium scarf. So pe...ople who know they are on the first order I will contact you today for a size. So please select a size. My first landscape painting of country and story and the other is titled River Dreaming. A story about the destruction of our waterways and impact on culture and identity.Enjoy people. 20.01.2022 Awesome news people. The Australian Financial Review and Qantas congratulate this year's 100 Women of Influence! This year I have been selected as a finalist and will be going to Sydney next month for the finals for my category Local and Regional. How I got selected? A wonderful person out there nominated me for this award, and I accepted the nomination and then was asked to write a submission on a given topic for selection into the finals. My topic Aboriginal people rights a...nd access to an equal education. Of course, I told my own personal educational story. For those people that don't know I never finished primary school nor went to high school, however, went onto university to become a teacher to ensure all children were given the right to an equal education. So, I guess I will be writing a speech and getting ready for the celebrations. Check out my photo and big shout out to Wayne Pratt our local photographer for taking my photo for this event. 03.01.2022 It is sad and exciting that I tell you all I will be leaving Care Goondiwindi on the 19th March 2020 and Goondiwindi shortly after. I am off to Brisbane to spen...d time with my children, grannies, friends, Bigambul family, old work workmates, take up studies in Textile Design, travel, develop my artistic career, and sleep in every morning. I will be working on finishing off community projects, lets catch up for a cuppa. This is not goodbye, but see you later. 01.01.2022 For 2020 I am designing a shirt. I am putting it out there for people to get involved with the design. I have my ideas already sorted. The question is what des...ign would you like on the shirt that is appropriate to your mob, you and community. If your idea or parts of it is used I will give you a shirt free for your ideas and promote you as well. So I hope it is a combined story of us mob put into design by me. If your idea is selected you will be required to sign a design/idea contract. All suggestions are appreciated and confidential. That means you need to inbox me and not put your idea in the public space as your idea belongs to you. I guess if I get lots of great ideas I may do more shirts with different designs.
