19.01.2022 In just under 24 hours we were due to arrive at Pambula Beach on the stunning Sapphire Coast, NSW however the recent border closures have brought those plans to an abrupt halt. For the second year in a row, circumstances outside everyone’s control are going to have a devastating effect on the local community and businesses - not to mention the mental health of many who have looked forward to their annual summer holidays after being locked up for so long, in Victoria anyway. We’ll be back, hopefully fully vaccinated and ready to enjoy this magical part of Australia.

14.01.2022 So you've decided to record some video footage of yourself because you need to keep in front of your clients, even during lockdown restrictions. However you want it to look & sound professional so that it doesnt just come across like a home movie! So now comes time to edit and get your video out to your network. If you don't know where to start, what software to use, how to add royalty free music (so Facebook doesnt block your video), add legible captions and the list goes on.......then hit me up for an obligation free chat. The footage you see on the laptop in this video was filmed by the client themselves off-site, however I pulled together the edit for them using industry standard video editing software incorporating two camera anges, larger than normal captions (so they can be read easily), suitable background music, text overlays, graphics and a number of stock images to help support the content. Video editing is one of those tasks that often requires attention to detail and time. 14.01.2022 Live-streaming can be daunting if you don’t know where to start, what equipment is needed or how to make it look as professional as possible. At the very least, you’ll want to use a good quality camera (not the inbuilt camera in your PC or laptop) as these are low resolution and you have no control over exposure or depth of field (eg blurred out background). They’re ok for Zoom meetings and the like, but that’s about it. If you’re also looking at incorporating multiple came...ra angles or even sharing presentations from another laptop, you’ll also need a switcher that allows for seamless ‘switching’ between the various cameras/laptops. A great choice is the Blackmagic ATEM Mini which allows for up to four cameras and two additional audio inputs. Reach out if you’re looking at running an event like this and need some assistance.
